Barossa & Light Cab Service rate the Kapunda Visitor and Information Centre 5 out of 5 stars, because staff are very good and helpful, and they are very understanding of the customers needs, and answer all the customers questions well.Barossa & Light Cab Service like the Kapunda Visitor Information Centre because it is located in the centre of Australia's oldest mining town.Hosted in a heritage building, along with the local Library, Community Art Gallery and Community Craft Shop, the Visitor Information Centre is part of a newly renovated visitor hub in the award winning Thomson building.

An early morning visit and we were greeted by 2 smiling and passionate employees keen to share their knowledge of their beloved Kapunda.After viewing the underground cellar and the upstairs Sir Sidney Kidman exhibition both came with Free entry thanks to a very generous council.Anyone considering driving through town without stopping Don’t, call in and see the friendly staff for complimentary town maps and general tourist advice.Gets my highest rating of 5 stars.
