Double D Caravan Park Peak Hill

Excellent from beginning to end. Very friendly and quite pretty. Even had the offer of pancakes for brekky, which we didn't have, but a lovely thought and a good business touch. We'll be back.

What a little gem.....Kev directed us to our site...slab drive on, grass, power, water and sullage where it should be. Camp kitchen so well equipped, wood heater....pancakes for brekky included in very reasonable tariff....If only all parks were like this....was our second visit in 3 years, and didn't disappoint...well done Kev and Deb

Friendly and funny hosts. Very neat well equipped park with level concrete slabs and surrounding grass for your van/camper trailer.Great enclosed camp kitchen with wood heater, fridge, pancake making machine (free for breakfast between 7.30-9.30), tea & coffee, TV and everything else you’d need!Highly recommend!

Just off the highway this is a little gem. A small park where they really focus on making every movement special. Aimed at the traveller, most sites are drive through and most being shady, grass and hardstanding available. Pet lovers (above Pet friendly) they even have a dog wash. The camp kitchen is one of the best we have come across, it even had a pizza oven and a water feature in the bug free area. Toilets were clean, and in the sites tradition of being better than the rest, there were material bath mats for use in the showers. The owners give 110% service. Stayed open longer as we arrived late, directed you into the parking spot, came over later to give info on the camp facilities and then as we left in the morning, came out to wave us off. Felt more like we were friends rather than clients.

Absolutely love stopping over at this caravan park. Friendly hosts, clean amenities, free pancakes for breakfast, great camp kitchen with fireplace when cold. If you are driving from vic border to qld border or other way this stop is approx half way. Once you have stopped here, you will want to return. Five stars from us.

This has the best camp kitchen, pizza oven, open fire, all the kitchen utensils you need. The pancake breakfast was just lovely, thankyou Double D caravan park. Deb & Kevin, were great hosts, friendly and engaging. We will be back.

Stayed here in a pet friendly cabin for 3 nights to get out of the rain. The cabin had everything we needed and was so nice to have the comforts of a house again. The free pancakes in the morning is such a nice way to start the day and we loved using the dog off leash yard. The managers helped us find a place for our trailer off the street and went above and beyond to help us feel comfortable. Would stay again.
