THE PICKLED GOOSE Cafe
A lovely little cafe located in Moonan Flat. We stopped in for a quick coffee after traveling through Barrington Tops National Park.The lady who served us was very genuine and a true local. Food and drink prices were reasonable but the highlight was the lovely setting. We enjoyed our coffees outside on the table under the tree, a nice place on a hot day. The owners dog, Tilly joined us under the tree.Though I didn't order food, I have a good sense that the food that this place serves will be hearty and filling.

we drove by this place, early around 7;30 with the plan of stopping for breakfast soon by making our own..We changed plans after seeing the pickled Goose sign, so we stopped , made a U turn, and sat inside while getting a delicious breakfast served, stocked up on delicious jams and pickles and had one of the most memorable cafe visits either one of us have ever had. 5 stars plus, warmly recommended!

Thank you Dimity and grand daughter for an awesome lunch under the pepper trees on a 36 degr day!!! no air con in the kitchen but you still produced fantastic food!!

I come to this little gem of a store once a month. We prefer it over the pub.Great food and coffee.Dimity and her niece are gems. I have had the unfortunate event and had my car break down. Dimity came to the rescue and was able to help me get parts from out of town.Dimity is one of those people you meet that is genuine and a good person.Please do yourself a favour and stop in for some food and a yarn, seat by the wood fire. A yarn about anything or nothing In particular.

Stopped at the pickled Goose Cafe for a late lunch after a visit to Barrington Tops National Park. My wife and I had the best burger that we had ever had!!! Coffee was also perfect! Wonderful friendly service and even walked away with some fresh local spinach!!! Well worth a visit to support these hard working small business owners!!! Thankyou Pickled Goose Cafe!!!

Fantastic Australia Day, very welcoming crowd with the locals. With pie eating competition, Bush Poetry & of course not forgetting Thong throwing competition that Ash took out & now the Thong trophy went straight to the pool room. We definitely will be back

Me and my family went to this cafe for lunch and unexpectedly we had an amazing experience assuming there are very less eating places around there. The food we ate was delicious, fresh and warm. The place was very clean and beautifully decorated. Dimity is a very pleasant lady, she even suggested me some great ideas to visit in the area. I would give more than stars if I could.
