dollar curtains + blinds Oakleigh

On time for in home appointment, made my curtains really quickly, exactly what I wanted and for less than their competitors. About to have them make me some more curtains. Highly recommend!

The 'drongo' who took the measurements did not even bring a step ladder when measuring 3 meter tall windows. I saw the way he measured it and I had him verbally confirm that these would be floor to ceiling" curtains. I made it abundantly clear that blocking out sunlight was very important to me - as light disrupts my sleep.The result? "Blockout" curtains that have a 3cm gap between the floor and the curtains. The curtains are not quite wide enough either as some light comes in on the left hand side.If I want them 'fixed' - they would change the curtain hooks (lowering the curtains). This would make more light come in above the curtains and less light below the curtains - which still defeats the purpose of blockout curtains).Other lesser issues:Installation was promised in 4 weeks

I had some interior roller blinds installed via this store. The shop is in an older area and the fitout is less cut and polished than their newer store at Moorabbin Airport. Don't let this put you off, they are the far superior store.I found the shop team here to be extremely helpful, knowlegable and friendly. The installation team were professional and did a solid and clean fitout, on time and with the minimum of fuss. Top marks for a top job.

Late for an appointment and then rude on the phone. These people don't deserve to be in business.

Ormond Store, Blinds, average. The way I was treated in my own home when they were being installed was atrocious, they blatantly ignored me (the customer), put multiple sets of blinds on the wrong side and tangled up the cables and list of other things and if you already have blinds they won’t remove them.

Honest people offering products at a reasonable price. They have been in business for years at the same place; Almost lost my 30% deposit with another blind company.

Cannot make a scheduled appointment, and don't have the decency to call and inform me they are running late. When I addressed them on this, they essentially blamed me for not being there (30-40minutes after appointment) and hung up on me...

Great customer service and good value for money. Curtains arrived as ordered and Greg who installed them was excellent. Very happy with the result.
