Primarily short steep single pitch sandstone climbing. A lot of the information here is from Lee Cujes qurank guide. Useful Info: Camping at Glastonbury creek is $6.55/night as of 04/12/18, previously there was a 'pay and display' however this is NO LONGER AVAILABLE and you should book online through the terrible QNPWS online booking system at https://qpws.usedirect.com/qpws/. Gympie has food/alcohol/basic camping supplies but no climbing stores. __First Nations Information__ The First Nations people from this area are Gubbi Gubbi/Kabi Kabi. Brooyar rock shelter holds cultural value to First Nations people as a seasonal hunting location. Significant cultural features are archaeological sites which included stone artefacts, charcoal and bone fragments. All information collected has been carried out with research, respect and best interest however, we welcome feedback from the community.

Mt Barney Lodge
Just finished camping for 4 nights (Wednesday - Saturday). This place is awesome and will feature on my regular spots" list.When I go bush camping I go to get away from the noise and disturbance of normal life. I don’t want to hear other people’s music or loud parting into the night. Mr Barney Lodge meets my criteria.This camping spot is quiet and peaceful. During the day there were some families with kids that made noise that you would expect from families with kids. It was the noise of kids having fun “hey look at the big goanna…” - no issue here. Good climb experience. Downstairs was great. Upstairs had recently been flooded. Still accessible but strong wet smell. Staff were great. Plenty of good climbs to try. Shoes can be hired.

Sticky Rubber Resoles
I've just received back my Scarpa Vapor V. Nat and Gery did an amazing job with them. The sole seems brand new and they fit and climb wonderfully.I'll definitely send their way all my climbing shoes now on.

Pretty frustrated, busting for the toilet as we departed from Adelaide to their new store.from the entrance, I visualise the green light and a toilet sign is visible hanging from a wall. I went to access said toilet, my bowels screaming at me; to be told that I cannot use the toilet and that the staff were unsure where I can find them. I would completely understand if there was appropriate signage to signify that they were strictly staff toilets rather than advertise them clearly and then get turned down with no knowledge where I can find them. I don’t understand the ramifications of using the toilet as we were the only people in the store. Ultimately, the inability to provide a service of necessary needs compromised the potential of sales. Also, stock wasn’t nearly as extensive as the previous store, limited climbing slings available. Disappointed.

Just got back from a kayaking trip in the Hawkesbury River to Dangar Island. Peter was a fantastic host and guide! Well organised, all equipment and gear provided, tasty lunch and a fun day out on the waters!
