Blue Mountains Adventure Company (BMAC)

My brother and I joined the Juggler Canyon and Abseiling Adventure with the Blue Mountains Adventure Company and this was undoubtedly one of the most memorable days during our time in Australia. It was action-packed, adrenaline-fuelled and physically challenging, from zip-lining through the canyons and descending down lofty overhangs. If you want to try something totally unique that pushes you outside of your comfort zone, this is one of the most exciting ways to experience the beauty of the Blue Mountains. Thank you Soren and Jerome for being such fantastic guides!

The tour guides were professional and provided all necessary gear, including helmets, wetsuits, harnesses, ropes, and climbing kit. They even prepared ginger tea for us in a thermal flask, which was a much-needed blessing after being in the water for a while. The group we were with was supportive and adventurous, which made the experience even more memorable.Before hitting the trail, we had a safety briefing and studied our route for the day with a map. We set off from the company's office at 8:30 am with our packs and hiked for an hour until we reached the canyon entrance. Activities in the canyon were non-stop, including waterfall abseiling, walking and jumping into the canyon, natural water slides, rope climbing, and more abseiling. We even encountered a wild lobster and a hitchhiking leech that we brought back with us unknowingly.For those planning to take the tour, it's important to wear appropriate clothing and be prepared to get wet. Bringing extra clothes and shoes to change into after the tour is also recommended. Additionally, be ready for a physically demanding adventure and make sure to have a good level of fitness.

Went canyoning at Empress Falls with my 15-year old son yesterday, the entire experience was superb. Very well organised. Super helpful and friendly guides. Delicious lunch! Moderately challenging terrain, but always felt very safe. Would absolutely recommend BMAC to anyone looking for a Blue Mountains experience 'with a difference.' Just a fabulous day out.

Had a great time spending canyoning with Mika and Lewi! Great guides. Mika told us everything about the the Blue Mountains and Lewi guide us through the proces of abseiling. It was obvious that Mika knows everything about geology. Thanks for the hospitality and great adventure.

We did the canyoning and abseiling trip through Empress Falls today and were absolutely impressed with every aspect of the day, and would recommend it wholeheartedly! Our guides Damo and Jay were incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and particularly fantastic with group members at every level of ability (including some that were a bit more nervous and had so much help building their confidence). They also had some excellent jokes that made the hikes easier!Having the half day of abseiling coaching first was fantastic, and was worth the time to make the day much more enjoyable. The food was great and they accommodated dietary requirements well.And most of all, it was a really gorgeous and unique canyon, and this has to have been the most fun way to experience it! 10/10 go with these guys!

We had a fantastic day climbing with our guide Yuri (sorry if spelling is wrong)!! He was informative, fun, patient and supportive as we climbed. Can’t wait to come back and do it again.

Empress Falls Canyon and Abseiling was an unforgettable experience. The day was well paced starting small, allowing you to build confidence and to finish with very special abseil down a waterfall! The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and know when to push you out of your comfort zone. Thank you BMAC!! If you're worried about the expense, it is worth it. I have often explored this region however I experienced a lot I've never had the chance to see. Just do it!

Fantastic experience doing the Empress Falls 4 hour canyon tour with water jumps. There was heavy rainfall the morning we did the tour but that didn’t change the experience. Not experienced in these kinds of activities but think it would be accessible for most. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and would thoroughly recommend the experience for getting closer to nature!

Had a wonderful day with my 12yo daughter. We took the jugglers canyon. The company was so professional, patient and skilled. Great conversation and knowledge sharing all day.Beautiful scenary meets challenging obstacles. A wonderful memory. Thankyou.

An awesome experience that I would highly recommend. My friends and I did the abseiling at Empress Falls and had a great time. Our guide was very knowledgeable and make worked with our various skills knowledge. It’s a great way to experience the nature in the Blue Mountains and see great views that not everyone gets to see.
