Flight school

This is easily the best flight school I have ever been to!Dan is so down to earth and he builds your confidence and skills very well!He is an ex Royal Australian Airforce and Royal Flying Doctor Service pilot and he teaches in a bush ready Cub that is quite new and well equipped at RAAus prices and he has no tickets on himself.I drove 10 hours (return) to do a tail wheel endorsement and I can’t wait to go back there to do more flying with him.

Highly recommended. My son had his first experience in a 2 seater Piper and my wife took up a Cessna 172. The instructor was very patient and considerate. Albury offers a fantastic view and summer weather conditions tend to be favourable.

Awesome experience. Weather dependant but Peter was great about communicating it and very knowledgeable about the conditions. Put us both at ease. Thanks for the flight!!

I completed my Private Pilots Licence with Great Southern Flying School after completing training with 3 other flying schools.I cannot recommend Great Southern Flying School enough for anyone wishing to pursue a carrier in aviation, or just gain their pilots licence as a hobby or for fun.I completed the last 37hrs of my PPL (which was 48hrs in total on my test date) with Murray. Murray is an exceptional instructor whom customises his instructing style to each student and teaches to the highest standard, not expect anything but the highest quality from his students. No matter if you are completing your RAAUS RPC, CASA RPL, PPL, or CPL, Murray teaches and expects commercial standards, so in turn your flying skills will be at Commercial standards, meaning that when you sit your exam the flight examiner has no hesitation in passing you. Making you the safest and most professional pilots in Victoria.

Airwork Helicopters were so friendly and helpful, I would recommend them to anyone wishing to go for a joy flight or flight training. Best experience ever.

Clamback and Hennessy are different from other flight training schools. They put knowledge and safety above making a buck; the integrity of their training standard is such that they would rather lose a student to another school, than to give out a licence on a lower standard - just because they're a paying customer.The training aircraft is maintained to a higher standard as well. I've seen other schools at Bankstown Airport with dodgy and unserviceable instruments (voiding them for anything but VFR) whereas all Clamback & Hennessy aircraft are approved for IFR.

Great introductory lesson with Lucas. The only downside was the $35 photo I paid extra for was completely black.
