Juandah Hotel Motel

Was going to give 3 stars last night, but I woke up the next day and got ready to leave by 8, as I was in the middle of a long road trip, and found that no plan had been put in place for out of hours check out. As it was Easter Sunday, the hotel didn't open until 12pm and no one was answering the phones. No conversations were had as to when I wanted to check out. As for the rest, the room was clean except the shower had stains of the floor and the bathroom had a funny smell which dissipated over night. One light in the room wasn't working and the fan was either like a hurricane or barely moving. Also, there were 2 other switches in the room that didn't do anything. I think one was for the exhaust fan in the bathroom that didn't work. The air con worked well. Any one of these things I usually wouldn't say anything about, but put together it really makes me regret my visit. Overall, the bones are there for an amazing motel. A bit of maintenance and TLC on the rooms could make this a much better motel (I'd even pay more per night). Also, definitely implement (or tell guests about) an out of hours check in/out.P.s. photo below is how the bottom bed sheet was pulled fully straight. Didn't even cover the ends. Some longer sheets would definitely make the place feel more home-y and less like what I'd expect to pay $50-$75 for.At least the pub nearby closed early and is fairly quiet even when open.

The three new Irish ladies have turned that pub to 100%!! They are so friendly and smiley ☺️

Wait forever to be served another patron had to go find a staff member out back as they didn't even know they had a customer . Personality is like talking to a wet piece of cardboard. Younger staff are polite old lady has nothing hardly even acknowledgement. Rude and arrogant .only buy takeaway here sometime because there is nowhere else to buy them . Also what sort of pub still hasn't opened before 1pm on a Sunday . Useless that's what this pub is .

Stay ruined by lack of sleep from mob of drunks at the pub.

Clean rooms. Great food. Fast service.
