TAP Art Gallery

Loved my Hen's experience at Tap Gallery, Lesley embodies a true artist, my girls and I really enjoyed her class and loved the freedom to make things different and mix it up a bit. Would highly recommend any of the classes she does, as we all had an amazing time.

I thought art was accepting of all genders, skin colors, ages, body types and shapes. NOT at TAP gallery. The male models are all young, muscular or females are peach like. Not an accurate representation of people and society. Wouldn't recommend, as they are not into serious life drawing art.

I had exhibitions at TAP gallery over the 30 years and TAP gallery , with the directions from Lesley Dimmick the funder ot the gallery.I had an amazing experiences and gave me so many opportunities to express my passion for my costumes designs creation and my visual artist media.I thank you TAP for the amazing support they do for the LGBTQA +Community and new artist.I highly recommend TAP to any artist or organisation to use their services.

I called TAP at 13:10 on Sunday 19th May ahead of visiting to confirm that they were open, also confirming that the art featured was for sale (as many of the artist run initiatives I have recently visited only sell art at periodic auctions). The woman who answered snapped at me with “Our name does state we’re a gallery, not an auction, right? If we were an auction, wouldn’t we have named the gallery TAP Art Auction?” She then proceeded to laugh at me and hung up the phone before I even had a chance to respond or explain my question. Needless to say, I will not be visiting any gallery that deems it appropriate to speak to another human being that way. Please proceed with caution...

Tap art gallery hosts art shows for local artists and groups. The gallery is quite open to supporting new artists and loves when people contact them about hosting a show at the gallery. Life drawing on a monday is great fun the models always do a great job. Friday night is life painting which gets a little more loose and has a more party like atmosphere

Wonderful models and life drawing sessions every Mon & Fri night. Lesley is a true wild child at heart and is not afraid to bring that authentic energy into the room.

I booked a private life painting session here for my birthday with ten friends. We had an absolute blast, Lesley was really helpful and flexible. She gave us enough guidance without it being too serious and every single one of us left having had a wonderful evening. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this to groups of friends, hen parties, etc! One for the bucket list, thanks Lesley and TAP Gallery!

Nice gallery space - seen an exhibition by exceptional photographer Alexander Alexandrovich (Alex) Kharlamov. Easy to reach gallery and just the right amount of space to experience a good selection of Alex' great work. Will look out for exhibitions to come back soon.

TAP Gallery was extremely supportive as a newcoming - artist in Sydney, I felt welcome and included in their program of classes and events.
