The site is walk accessible about 1.1kms past the locked gate via a well formed track. This is the local digital TV translator, and FM broadcast transmitter site for the Warburton area. Local mobile phone coverage also provided from Telstra and Optus here. The area is subject to extreme weather conditions including snow.If you use the walking track Mt Donna Buang to Warburton, you'll walk past here.

Just a passing point on our hiking route from Warburton to Mt Dona Buang at 1250m! It’s the flattest part of the hike other than Mt Dona Buang itself! Took us 2 hours from the start of the trail- beautiful shady trail! It’s classified as hard, safe but challenging up, up up all the way, not a stroll in the park.
