What a pleasure to work with the team from Australian Leak Detection (ALD). The swimming pool at Tivoli was losing 180Ltrs of water a day! I am the Caretaker for Tivoli.From the moment I spoke with Juanita I knew we were in good hands. I received as estimate cost, which was very reasonable and gave them the go ahead. Plumbing and Pressure Test and the use of a camera found the leak in the Suction Line, which was hiding under a set of steps. Nasty!The BC accepted the estimated quote of $3000; and, Alex arrived promptly to cut out a step and a large slab of concrete to expose the broken line. We just wanted to give a massive shout-out to Darren and Jeff from Australian Leak Detection who called out today. 5 stars are not enough! If you want guys who know their stuff, who are honest and zero time for fluff explanations then these guys straight up know what they’re talking about.From the moment we dealt with Shaun from the office - I didn’t even bother calling another company. We’re not loaded but we have a big pool and we didn’t want amateurs looking at it.Dave called out first and did the structural test. After a very thorough investigation of the pool Dave only found a cracked hydrostatic valve and replaced it. It was the only possible thing he could do at the time as he couldn’t do the pressure test on his own due to the in-floor cleaning system - it needs two people. He also explained so much to us which gave us more faith in the teams experience. Dave suggested to call back if the bucket test still showed obvious unusual pool level drops. Unfortunately after many days of bucket testing the levels continued to drop 20mm per day minimum.The guys called out today. They were here for hours and found the leak in the in-floor cleaning system. Darren could have charged thousands for what we could have had done with no other options but he offered a cheaper and as effective solution also, this has given my family peace of mind and more money in our pocket this close to Christmas. The leak was costing us so much in water, time and added stress also so it’s been hands down our best investment for 2022 - we will continue to recommend these guys to everyone we know.Thanks team for being the absolute best to deal with. These guys were great!! After having Jim's plumbing out and quoting $15,000.00 to find and fix my leak, plus 2 other plumbing companies that had no idea where the leak was coming from, these guys come out and quickly pinpointed my leak under concrete within a 15cm radius, hubby dug up the concrete and there it was right where they said it would be... the detection plus cost to fix had me out of pocket no more than $800!! Thanks for being fast and efficient guys!! Greatly appreciated!!

Absolutely delighted with this company. I would like to pass on our appreciation to Jeff. He did a fabulous job, and went above and beyond. He is so thorough and found not one, but two leaks. His thoroughness and attention to detail is amazing. Jeff worked so hard and exceeded our expectations. Sent a guy to our house , he spent about 5 mins. Told us it is too complicated for him to do at that time given its a pool + spa combo. Want to send us an invoice for 150$ callout fee for telling us it was too hard for him to do on the day. Could have asked for photos of the pool first or asked the details before just showing up. They could have asked us these details first or asked for photos first. Dealt with their in charge named Shaun. Won't recommend, very unhelpful.

Guys from ALD came 2 days earlier than they agreed, did a great job in identifying the issues, gave recommendation on what needs to be done. Friendly team and prompt too. Highly recommend them.

Spent almost $600 trying to find 3 leaks . They claimed to have found all three, which I fixed accordingly. The next rain we had all three were leaking. Got someone else in, spent $200 and found all three leaks. Haven't had a drop of rain since.Don't waste your money

Liam was very professional and efficient, and best of all, he found and fixed the leaks for us!We also appreciate the 30 day guarantee and are monitoring to see if there is any further leakage, but so far, so good! Highly recommended! We have been wasting so much water keeping the pool topped up. We wish we had called earlier.

Damaged my pool tiles replacing my skimmer box that turns out did not need replacement as there was a small leak in the yard. Then they tried to invoice me for another $650 on top of the original quote. Ended up in QCAT and they had to deduct the amount to fix my tiles as the tribunal accepted the work was defective as reported by a licensed building inspector report. My mistake trusting the business and not getting a written quote. Very poor quality work.
