Myer Parramatta

I went to Myer Parramatta today to pick up a click and collect and wanted to do some shopping for makeup and fragrances while I was there. I was excited because I hadn't been in a long time and my local Myer had closed a while back. The click and collect staff were lovely, and so were others when I asked for directions to the makeup and fragrance department. But once I got to that department, customer service went out the window. There were staff everywhere but no one offering to help when I was looking for shades at counters. Then when I went and got things I knew I wanted myself, and continued to browse, suddenly every staff member was saying 'can I help you,' not striking up a conversation, not giving me space to shop, just one after another until a man did it 20 seconds after the last and followed up with 'you can put those on the counter' and it didn't sound like a question. I was openly carrying a lipstick and a concealer, had a closed bag, no pockets, and wasn't being shady. I said 'if that will make you comfortable' and he just walked off. I work in retail, so I get that you have to be careful of shoplifting, but there is a line that you need to walk that actually lets customers enjoy their experience. Strike up a convo, pay attention to if others have already greeted the customer, and also pay attention to when they're actually looking round for help at an empty counter. I got social anxiety, didn't pick anything else, paid for what i had already picked out and went to Mecca instead, where they were lovely. Honestly just not worth going to Myer if that's how it's gonna be.

Staff very polite. I met the cashier on the children's floor. She instructed me to need to go down 1 more floor for women's products, 2 more floors for men's products. If you want to return the item, go down 3 more floors from the children's floor. Everything is favorable for my return. Thank you guys.

I was looking for a bag, that was showing 'In stock' at Myer's Parramatta. So I drove and went there just to find that the Bag was not available. When I enquired the staff they were completely oblivious, and said the stock is there but inside packed. What??? I requested if the staff person can bring it, she said it is up to the store guys to do it, and may do it in 1 day or 1 week. At least, update all this on your website. Really bad how Myer is being managed.

[For new Customers] FOR click and collect, enter via main entrance of Myer and find the elevators and it is right beside the elevators on ground floor.

One place to find all brands of clothes, accessories, furniture and more. Lot of clearance sales to look out for . Try not to buy full price items as eventually they are marked on discount on weekends. Currently with all the Christmas vibes with gifts of all ranges. Must visit once.

OK. They usually have helpful staffers on hand..and if the designated staffer is on break time, the others cover for them. They are helpful with suggestions,.esp with color of fabric. The lighting inside the store makes a white look brown. It makes a blue look like gray! They pointed this out to me..i was surprised & flummoxed to verify it.

For all your perfume needs , see Julie. I had no idea what I wanted to buy and I was in a big rush.Julie was very quick to think on the spot recommending a great purchase. Sorry for cutting you off A few times , I was just having a bad day. You were respectful and understanding. I will definitely return when I need such gifts again.

I really wanna thank Manju for her wonderful customer service to my family. She made the time to help us for the transaction and got us the Myer membership whereas she could just say don’t worry. Thanks again.
