Blink Hair

Called up the other day to get someone that I like there and then rocked up and turned out she was at the end of the shift and had to go with someone else. Explained to the person who cut my hair that I didn’t want any off the top and she acknowledged that. Then later proceeds to cut some of the top and a significant amount and when I asked about it I was responded to an explaination about how she thinks it would look better. Without wanting to be rude I then had to sit there and they raised the price. I’m about to go away and was expecting a clean up and not loosing a lot of the length in my hair which wasn’t what I asked for. On top of that they had raised their prices. Overall not happy at all

Friendly staff, never had issues getting an appointment within reason. Quick service with no frills. Convenient being able to park under the shopping centre!

I was so excited to have my appointment and then...I walk out of the salon with a fried hair color ,which is very far from what I asked for. It’s doesn’t have a ombré or balayage effect at all, you can see right away where the bleach was applied! It looks like I just went for a bleach and I ran away!!, and I straight my hair better and make it look “healthier” after the burn. Probably was just that person who lacked of skills, may be the other guys works better but who knows:(

I would not recommend this salon if you have curly hair. I specified when I called to book that my hair is very curly and asked whether someone was confident cutting curly hair. I was told that the majority of the staff could cut curly hair and so I booked. The staff were all very kind - but my haircut was very disappointing. The hairdresser thinned the shorter sections around my face which has made the curls frizzy and undefined. She also cut the section around my face very uneven.I was also told about chemical curl relaxing treatments (despite not asking about this) - which I think sends a message to the client that their hair shouldn't be curly and requires such treatment?Although I understand this salon is affordable and not specifically for curly hair, I was quite disappointed that despite asking in advance whether someone was confident with curly hair, the end product was poor.

Blink Hair at Walkerville is the only salon I go to, or recommend to friends and family. The level of quality service and professionalism is exceptional, with competitive prices. They have very highly skilled and friendly staff, and the atmosphere is bright, bubbly and modern. Walkerville Shopping Centre is also a perfect spot for this salon, with underground parking, and you can also grab a coffee or pickup some groceries after your appointment.

Been going to Bec at Blink Walkerville for years and I wouldn’t go anywhere else! Always walk in there feeling comfortable and walk out feeling beautiful! Thank you guys. Xx

I was booked in for an appointment to get a full head of foils and a bob. I showed jackie a photo of the exact bob that I wanted and the length that I wanted removed. She asked me whether I wanted it cut short or not as my hair is quite curly and told me it would spring up if I did and it would probs be best not to cut it to apparently the desired length I wanted and I told her to go ahead and cut it to the desired length. I was very disappointed to notice that she had cut of so much length and I ended up with a very short bob. There was a lack of communication and she did not even ask how thick I wanted my weaves. The cut was pretty even and colour looked fine but she wasn’t thorough in her consultation. I was looking forward to having it like a wavy kinda looking bob without having the hair blow dried inwards but she decides to blow dry it however she wants. Not only that, she was very rough when she was shampooing my hair. I didn’t want to say anything so I don’t disappoint her but I will not be coming back to this salon again!!! Not worth the $300! I have to wait a while for my hair to grow now.
