After being quoted $850 for a job by the Mercedes dealership I thought I'd shop around. Jason, the owner at Mainstyle quoted me the job in the $600s. He seemed like a nice guy and I left him my car to complete the job. Every interaction since then he has been rude, arrogant, intimidating, and deceitful. When I went to pay he told me the job cost $950. I said that he quoted me around $600 for the job and that he's charging even more than the Mercedes dealership who he admits charge like a like wounded bull. He told me that if I didn't pay him the full amount there's going to be a problem and I'm not going to end up happy. He is an intimidating bully and a liar. I left an honest review of my experience with him on Google. From this he has tracked me down and left horrendous, falsified, libellous claims about me and my business on every form of online review site he can find. He is even going to the extent of making several false accounts to leave these reviews daily. He has made public claims accusing me of assaulting his children, and of making indecent advances on young women after playing them with alcohol. He has threatened that he knows where I live and is coming after me. During this time he has been sending me SMS asking me if I enjoy the new reviews he is posting online. Jason Adams is the absolute lowest form of human. An angry, twisted, terrible person who takes no accountability for his actions and has complete disregard for honesty. Jason not only embodies the stereotype of the shonky mechanic that we all fear, he willingly carves out an all new low. He truly deserves any and every misfortune that comes his way. I strongly suggest you avoid this disgusting excuse for a human being at all costs, and take your money elsewhere.

Jason is without doubt the best most reliable honest mechanic in SA. I have used Mainstyle Motors for the past ten years for my Merc and other European cars. So has my husband. He is not a rip off merchant. He has helped me through emergencies and there is no one better I am honoured to recommend his services. And he has helped me with a loan car too when I’ve needed it. He is very different to all the unscrupulous sharks around I can’t speak highly enough about this amazing man.

Just called the place and spoke to Jason to get a part replaced on a Mercedes. Jason rudely asked who’s diagnosed it and serviced the vehicle, I answered I do it my self (holding Cert IV in automotive). Jason rudely said goodbye. Calling multiple places Adelaide to get a quote never spoken to by anyone this way. Unbelievably rude hahaha. Don’t bother with the guys at Mainstyle Motors.
