We had the lunch special ( pork adobo w rice ) , the deal was great as it came w a soft drink and egg. We also had sinuglaw and spaghetti combo, the sinuglaw was the best as it tasted really fresh. Service was quick as well. Would go there again if in the area.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at a Lamiay Kaayo, a Filipino Restaurant in Surfers Paradise, and I have to say, it was an absolute treat! From the moment I walked in, I felt warmly welcomed by the inviting ambience and attentive staff. But the real star of the show was undoubtedly the food. I had the pleasure of trying the Beef Oxtail, Pork Sisig and Grilled Pork belly, and each dish was beautifully presented and absolutely phenomenal in taste. The flavors were perfectly balanced and expertly crafted, and each bite was a true delight for the taste buds. But what really stood out to me was the level of customer service. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, making sure that I had everything I needed throughout my meal. They went above and beyond to make sure that my dining experience was nothing short of exceptional.Overall, I would highly recommend Lamiay Kaayo to anyone looking for a top-notch dining experience. The food is outstanding, the staff are super nice and attentive, and the customer service is truly the best. This is easily a 5-star restaurant in my book!

Seeing the good review of this restaurant, we decided to give it a go and it didn’t disappoint! The staff was very friendly & accommodating. We arrived slightly earlier than their opening time and they were ok to accommodate us. They were also very helpful in helping us to choose the menu. As there were 12 of us, we were able to order variety of things and they are all so yum and there were no left overs at all. Both kids & adults love it.

I love it! While interior does remind me of home. Food is amazing. But then again, I am a simple girl, not a food critic. Food is also pretty cheap too.

The staff instantly greeted us with a smile, and showed us to our table. As soon as we sat down, we were served with water. They also have a variety of dishes, too many options to choose from. My mom and I ordered crispy pata, pinakbet, and beef oxtail (kare-kare) plus steamed rice. We could've ordered more, but I just don't want to have left overs since we will be traveling back to SA.After ordering, I just noticed that they also have breakfast and lunch meals that are much more affordable. But then, we really wanted to try those dishes. We didn't wait very long for the food to be served. All of the dishes were well-presented. All cooked to perfection. The crispy pata is to die for. Kare-kare is divine! And pinakbet is generous with veggies and meat and the taste is just sensational. For my mom and I, it cost us around $90, but we had leftover to take home (which we had for dinner later on). Definitely worth every cent!!! There was also Filipino music in the background that added to that Filipino vibe and ambiance. I highly recommend this Filipino Restaurant, which for me is the best by far I have ever dined in. Thank you for this wonderful experience! I hope I will be able to come back again!

If you’re craving for Filipino cuisen and missing back home. This is your place to eat! From friendly staff, every meal was delicious and flavoursome, karaoke night - best duo on the night and super friendly, and you can request any songs. Our family enjoyed everything when the food came. We couldn't finish it all and got offered to take the food home. This place had plenty of seating, pram friendly and I love their customer service. Every staff we encountered was friendly and funny too. Worth visiting for a Filipino meal!Thank you for having us and accomodate 18 of us on the night 22/01/2023

Stumbled across this one randomly and came back for some serious feasting with the fam. Had to try sizzling Sisig which was tasty but not what I was expecting and not my fave dish but my first time. The stuffed Squid was ok but again not what I was expecting thinking the flavour was more a BBQ style but the tomato and onion stuffing kept it moist but blander than the caramelised bbq flavour I’m used to. The Mixed BBQ Grill for about $60 with Chicken Inasal (delicious roast style chook) was lovely and moist and flavoursome, then Pork Liempo (grilled, marinated pork belly) was getting more to the flavour I was chasing and so tasty. But the Pork Skewers were amazingly delicious! The Chop Suey vegetables were perfect and soo tasty and great to have some veggies amongst the meat heavy dishes. The Beef and Broccoli was divine. Too much to eat we took away and Sisig and Squid tasted better the next day. Don’t come for the ambience, it’s basic and friendly and you’re here to eat some home style favourites. Beer, massive rice and 5 dishes including massive Mixed Grill came to about $180 but over 2 days food so $90/4 pax. Meals served super quick (we were first diners and only another party) but so great as we were starving. Accompanying sauces were divine (maybe that’s what made it taste better next day as I just splashed that in the take away). Definitely coming back to explore other dishes, can’t wait!
