Very disappointed the price Tag for what you saw. The models raced up the cat walk and back not long enough to focus. Many I spoke with agreed. These Students spent many long hours on their creations. Less than 1 minute to view. Sad

Went to see the Fashion Students Graduation and the designer Patrick Mackenzie. Lovely show and venue but parking was a nightmare.

In my personal experience, best part of the best campus of any university in the Brisbane area. I personally have studied at ALL 3 major universities: UQ, QUT and Griffith and been to their multiple campuses (don't ask). I personally like the small, cozy but cosmopolitan vibe of the QUT Creative Industries Precinct at KG, it's not too far from the city centre and you can actually invite your friends there without feeling like there's nothing around; there's plenty of cafes and restaurants in short walking distance of each other; QUT really is a university for the real world. UQ St Lucia is too large and old, steeped with self-placed pride and effusing second-rate prestige; it's a little wonder I left there after one year. Griffith Southbank campus sort of dissolved into the background of the Parklands and is arguably the least interesting part of Southbank; the Nathan campus is great if you want to feel like you've been thrown into a woodland area and be living in the setting of the next next dystopian John Marsden novel. Even QUT Garden's point, although perfectly placed (blue QUT logo blazing proudly over the Brisbane river), the parking is a pain and is only really accessible by walking from the city or taking a lime.

Campus is spread around the entire village. Too much wasting of time walkinv from one lecture to another one. And there is uphill too...

I'm a 4th year at QUT and I LOVE this precinct. The facilities are excellent, the students are inspiring and the staff are inspired. Your brain just comes alive as you walk by. What's not to love?

The people here are indeed creative in an array of different ways. This is a collective of critical thinkers with proximity to good services and facilities. Many fine eateries and bars nearby, and La Boite right there being excellent. There is also a nice mural for doing selfies if that is your thing. Just be aware that researchers at the nearby Digital Media Research Centre may observe you as a selfie-taking phenomenon and before you know it you're the subject of a PhD thesis. Just go with it.

Fantastic performance of Ivanov, played by Jack Bannister. Great, relaxed venue and filled with the enthusiasm and passion of the students. Couldn't help but rub off on me.

The most generous and supportive teaching staff I have ever known. They not only work hard for students, but also contribute in their own industries, giving so much love, time and energy to there jobs.
