Thank you GAR . Highly recommend. Ellie is THE perfect dog and i believe the care she recieved while awaiting adoption has a lot to do with her beautiful nature. So happy to deal with such lovely people and will continue to sprout how good GAR are.

Adopted a gorgeous kitten that fits our family purrfectly. The process was thorough but not overwhelming. Thank you GAR and the wonderful pet foster parent I had the pleasure of meeting!

We adopted a cat from GAR and the service they provide has been great. The foster carer of our cat was available for us to ask any questions and if the adoption had not been successful we were able to return her for up to 14 days and receive our payment back. GAR provides an excellent service that benefits animals who need a forever home.

Love, Love, Love the work that GAR does. They are a very professional and well run organisation with dedicated fosters, volunteers, fundraisers and people who all share the same passion and love for animals. Keep up the great work guys :-) .

I reported 2 dogs with collars, obviously very friendly family dogs, running loose in Little Malop St, I was never answered. A neighbour of mine who is very involved in Animal Welfare checked the area some hours after I'd seen the dogs & was told by people working nearby that the dogs were still in the vicinity. Neither one of us could get GAR interested.On their site I made application to do voluntary work, twice, approx 12 months apart, still waiting. I've since been told that if I imagine it is anything like the RSPCA I'm sadly mistaken, this is given that Geelong is a smaller city than those where the RSPCA is in action. I don't think expecting even a generic reply email is a big ask

We have always shared our house with cats. Over the years this has involved several generations, with several special individuals exceeding 20+ years.Our last two delightful friends were obtained from GAR. Both kittens were friendly and well-mannered, a pleasure to have them share our house. We can certainly recommend GAR and their helpful ‘foster parents’ to assist with an appropriate companion.

We adopted a beautiful 4 month old kitten and she has brought so much joy and fun to our household! The adoption process was quite straight forward. We mainly dealt with the foster carer who was lovely and made it a very happy experience :)

I recently adopted a kitten from Geelong Animal Rescue & I couldn’t fault their service. The foster carer Kate was amazing! She was friendly, communicated well & knowledgeable about cats . You could see that all of the cats were looked after very well. I would definitely adopt from GAR again. Almost 5 stars .. but just took a little long to get kitty’s paperwork.
