Sarah Bladin - Interior Design

I have so much respect for Sarah and the work that she does after recently completing our very first renovation!There were so many decisions to be made and Sarah made it easier by helping me find the answers to many of our design, decor and layout problems. She often would point things out that I hadn’t thought of and that made her expertise shine through.The best part was when we were on the same page with ideas. I would shoot her an email or photo inspo and she would affirm my thoughts or provide great feedback & suggestions.Having a designer on the job is so beneficial as they are specialised & so much more knowledgeable than me & my Pinterest account!I’ve loved working with Sarah and I’m sure there will be plenty more times where I will need her expertise in the future.

Should I choose an Interior Designer? This is the question you may ask when starting a project, well from my experience the answer is YES.After doing a couple of projects without out the help of an interior designer and it costing more with having to change floor plan layouts or even reconfiguring a salon, I would not think twice about using an interior designer.An essential element in choosing an interior designer is choosing the right one! Making sure you connect with the person, and they understand your brief. That is why I chose Sarah Bladin Interiors. Sarah listens to what you need and is always available to offer that advice for making decisions during the build process. I have saved so much money, heartache of wondering if I have made the right decision and happiness in the result using Sarah as my interior designer.Sarah has done two jobs for us, a Hair salon, which required a very strategic floor plan for maximum use but also a brief that included a calm, stylish and boutique space. She worked very fast to get the plans, mood boards and all elements I needed so trades could get the job done in a very short amount of time. The results speak for themselves, and all clients love the look and feel, plus all team members enjoy working in the space.The second project was our home, we reconfigured the floor plan to change an existing bathroom to an ensuite and walk in robe, then added a new kitchen and replaced the old kitchen with a master bathroom. This project took some time to get the layout right as we were very specific as to how we use our home, with two boys and a busy lifestyle, the brief was very important to be user friendly, with clean lines, and to tie into the character of our old home, with a modern farmhouse style. Sarah has done an amazing job, working within a tight budget for the works that needed to be done, she has chosen so many beautiful elements down to gorgeous, aged brass kitchen knobs that finish off our kitchen. The result is exactly what we need, we have had so many friends and family over to enjoy the space and we couldn’t be happier.
