I normally see Victoria, however the whole team is great. Never had a bad experience, very welcoming. Having a cut and being offered a beer is a nice way to unwind after a work. Highly recommend!

One star is for the full refund and offer to fix the horrendous “cut” Jessie gave me. It is the worst experience I’ve endured by a hairdresser.While living at BJ I used to visit this salon regularly. I was always happy with the service, cut of my long hair and loved the interior design. However, when I visited before Christmas, the senior hairdresser told me she was completely booked but a guy she pointed to was free. As he was sweeping up hair and seemed to be a junior, I was not keen. The senior hairdresser assured me that he was great and would be able to cut my now short and wavy hair.When I arrived he was cutting someone’s fringe - it was dead straight and I thought I may have been rash in thinking he was junior.However, from the moment we started talking about what I wanted he didn’t seem to understand. I thought it might just be a language issue seeing as I was told he was a competent hairdresser. I explained at length and we googled pictures and eventually I thought he knew what I meant. I finally said: better longer than shorter, I really just need it tidied up. Less is more.I must admit, I had that moment when I thought I should leave.. and I’ve been kicking myself for four awful months since!At first I read while he started cutting but eventually I realised things were going wrong. I asked him what he was doing, told him that I specifically said not to cut in, not to take any bulk off the top, it was only the ends.. he said he understood but I had to tell him THREE times to stop cutting in at the top. He just kept cutting and my hair became shorter and shorter (although it really wasn’t easy to tell at the time because it was wet and he cut in/feathered the ends, so the length appeared to still be there.).The cut took much longer than anticipated and I was really upset by the end as I could see it was very short so I said I had to go and left with my hair wet.(Another point to note, curly hair should be cut dry.. I should have known when he washed it.. no idea why I kept trusting him)By the time I arrived home, my hair was dry and I was absolutely devastated.I had entered that salon with a wavy, almost bob (they charged me for that too), what I saw in the mirror was indisputably a pixie cut. But worse. The sides were not even, as in the left was longer than the right and even each side was cut badly with noticeably longer bits and even a shocking gap above one of my ears.From bouncy, voluminous hair, to a flat, short cut. The low I felt was not just for the bad cut, more because it just looked so bad on me. And I knew it would take a long time to grow back.And that’s why I’m writing this today, I’ve just “done” my hair this morning and still feel so upset - how can I not be when I have to look at this still recovering hack of a job everyday! I still feel uncomfortable going out and meeting friends.I didn’t think to write a review before because I always thought the girls at KRH were lovely and the apology, refund and offer to fix my hair was genuine. However it was my trust of the senior hairdresser that had me sitting in that chair, second guessing my instincts while someone who was both too inexperienced to cut my hair and not smart enough to seek help ruined my self esteem.

I come every three weeks to get my grey hair covered and LOVE the whole team. It is a great space to get my hair done while I work in the salon! I would be lost without them!

Mietta’s salon is my go to - it’s the only place in Sydney I’ve never left disappointed!I get my colour and extensions done here all the time and always leave with my hair looking so fresh and clean! I recently got a trial of different ones put in somewhere else and they completely ruined my hair - but Mietta saved it and I can definitely say I will never trust anyone else doing my hair! The colour is always exactly what I picture - and the team working make sure everything is how I want it as they go along :) They are so friendly and I always feel so welcome every visit

I have been seeing Mietta for many years and she does the best blow dry’s in Sydney. Last year we moved from The East and I still come back every week for her signature blow dry. All the other staff are fabulous as well, best salon in Sydney!

I wanted a simple foil color Blonde but I hadn't chosen blow dry so I hadn't seen the result at the end. Arrived at home I saw that my head was white !!! In addition to being totally burned, my hair looked like rice noodles. So Am I happy? I spend Way too much money and time to have my hair burned and I was lucky to find and other place with good hairdressers who told me that it was really bad but they tried to fix it ! Now my hair are completely damaged. I advise you not to go there if you want to keep your hair health!

Small friendly salon where I felt as a transitioning salt and pepper woman, their advice was honest and not pressured to send me down the foils/bleaching route! Will return. Thanks gals.

This is a great salon for colour and maybe a cut. However if I you want extensions I would suggest looking elsewhere. I’ve tried one staff member and the owner and it’s been the worst extensions I’ve ever had.Firstly they didn’t put the glue in so the hair was falling out with an easy pull, secondly they cut off half of my extension length because they couldn’t get it natural enoughThen after hours in the chair when they finally got them all in I had to rip half out next day because they placed it an a way where I could not make a simple pony tail ( and I specially asked to pls not place them too low to my neck so I can make a pony tail)Very disappointed for the wasted timeNow I have to call someone else and get them to fix this mess.
