BLEU is a lovely salon. Welcoming and professional. They make everyone feel comfortable and listen to what the client wants. I have now visited twice and will be back again.

I provided an image even prior to making an appointment & Marc assured me that he could provide me with a clean natural blonde & provided price for full head of highlights & cut. I had three years of regrowth but am a natural blonde. I had also been cutting my own long hair during the lockdowns as well as my medical needs to isolate from CoVid19. At my appointment l again provided the image of my required blonde and he acknowledged that he understood. Marc seemed to be doing fine highlights but was spacing them out quite sparsely which l found quite odd. After my hair was washed l commented on how dark my hair still looked & he said that a lot of people comment like that but l would see when the hair was dry how good it was. He did not give me the clean blonde that l had asked for but rather a flat dull grey hue which when blended with my regrowth, looks a shade of green. The haircut was also no better than what l had been doing myself. In fact he did not shape around the face as l had requested so l have had to do myself.I went back the next day to discuss my concerns & asked for some more highlights to lift the colour especially around the face, which l had made a point of asking him to do prior to his commencement. He was very defensive and said he would have to charge me more money for his time. The time he took to apply the highlights is the average time it would take any other colourist to master a complete full head of highlights. I said l would pay another colourist to fix my hair.Some of his fellow street traders were out the front having coffee and when l asked their opinion, they validated my concerns about the state of my hair & said that they would talk to him about his approach as it's a tight little retail community.I would not recommend & l am very disappointed to have paid $295 and now to pay someone else to repair my colour.

I’ve had my hair cut, colored and styled by Marc for many years. He is, without a doubt, the very best hairdresser I’ve encountered (and I’m picky!). Marc pays close attention to your actual hair (how does it grow, move, dry) and cuts styles that look amazing weeks down the track. He is a true expert in his field. In my opinion: Marc is Melbourne’s best. Run, don’t walk, to book an appointment!

Great hairdresser's that treat you and your hair with care, passion and even better, you walk out with your hair looking as you asked for it to look. Special. Marc and Ruby are excellent.

So glad to have found this fantastic hair salon.I recently had full head foils, toner and cut with the lovely Ruby. So impressed by the level of care taken to find out what I’m wanting and needing (a detailed consult). Ruby’s highlights are so fine and thoughtfully placed - I love the end result. And my hair feels a million dollars after the cut too.I highly recommend Bleu by B.Marc and will be a regular here in future. Great people, wonderful music, professional service at very reasonable prices.

Hands down Marc is one of the best hairdressers in Melbourne. We started the appointment with a proper lengthy consultation, not rushed and was genuine. Marc truly listens and offers experienced feedback and guidance. I was a bit of a difficult client as I wasn't able to provide any photos of what I wanted, only verbal descriptions (the most frustrating type of client!) My colour/highlights look incredible - exactly what I had visualised.I usually don't love my haircuts when I leave a salon, but I absolutely loved my haircut.Marc and Ruby are wonderfully warm and personable. I have found my new salon - thank you!I have been to many of the best salons in Victoria. Marc is a standout. One of the best stylist and colourist. There's a reason why he's booked out with a long waitlist.

Marc is an exceptional hair dresser and all round nice guy. The salon has a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere and Marc takes the time to understand your hair routine in a very non-judgemental way. He respects your hair choices and provides helpful advice. I would recommend Marc to everyone, particularly people who have had frightful and anxious experiences with hairdressers in the past.

My first time here. Greeted by Marc and Isobelle with a lovely glass of Grenache Merlot French red wine, so delicious and light. I thought this is a good start!Ruby looked after me with a terrific cut, and great conversation. I am coming back! Great value for money. Everyone made me feel very welcome. Recommend.No photo, but will take a selfie when I next wash it as this will show the quality of the cut, and the de-frizzing product to be used on dried hair.

Marc has been doing my hair for 6 or 7 years, and I would not trust anyone else with it now. Apart from being a truly wonderful human being, he is an incredibly talented hairdresser. He takes the time to do a proper consultation at the start of every appointment to understand what you are after and provide recommendations, and then executes it to the highest standard. You won’t be disappointed.
