Terrible and disappointing experience with the Lakemba store. Ex salesman sold me wall tiles for the floor when I asked for floor tiles. Since then the tiles have cracked, chipped, and various family members have slipped as there is no grip. Sadly I have slipped few weeks ago and have a bad back, so in the process of getting medical records. Tried calling manager and he was no help. Spoke to the big boss, Peter Wyu, and he is a disgusting offensive and rude boss. He basically said it's not his problem, doesn't care that his salesman gave wrong tiles, and that I need to buy new tiles at a discount price. He did not listen, nor show any understanding or empathy on what's happened. Let alone, he took no responsibility. That salesman has since been fired for being 'not good at his job and not competent' according to John or Wynston. I will be taking this with Department of fair trading, as well as seeking legal action. Please do not buy from this place, or do make sure 100% on what you buy is for what you need it to do. Peter is a very disappointing boss, and I even quoted what his website says about 'professional service' and 'customer care', and he said ' I don't care and it's not my problem. He even bullied me and threatened me to go to Department of Fair trading as they won't do anything. I have all the evidence, and proof on how he speaks to customers.

Excellent customer service from Danny of BBC tile Lakemba. He went out of his way to explain to us the differences in the quality and make of the tile, and catered to our needs/budget. He was very patient. We initially went in there for a quote and ended up not buying anything at first as we had difficulty deciding. Danny was very understanding of our situation and didn't do any hard selling which would have put us off. After a few weeks, we came back and Danny continued to help us. He gave us a reasonable price for good quality floor tiles. Although our order was small, he accommodated us very well. Definitely, once we do full reno of our bath and kitchen in the next few years, we'll come back to this place.
