Flight Training Adelaide

FTA has a fantastic and very thorough ground school. During a one-semester exchange from America I was taught ground school at UniSA by FTA instructors. They are all great teachers with real-world experience and plenty of stories to share. They taught me more about aviation in a classroom in ten weeks than I learned in three months of flight lessons in America. Australia has high standards and tough exams for aviation cadets and FTA has impressively good pass rates. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone, local and abroad! Michael Choi is the best instructor but all of them are good.

Flight training started at 7am on Good Friday. and has been going none stop. The same happened on Australia Day. This company has no respect at all for the people and community that has the endure their noise pollution so they can profit. This company and the government officials that approved it should be ashamed.

FTA is a great incubator for all budding aviators. The exposure and environment they provide is truly class apart.It was a great time learning to fly at FTA and would definitely recommend FTA going ahead! :)

My experience in this flying school has not been a positive one. Instructors cared very little in your progression or helping you succeed during the early stages of your training. I felt that they only focused on gaining enough hours so they can apply for the airlines. Priority is of course, given to airline cadets than self funded students. Flights were regularly cancelled last minute without instructor calling prior due to bad weather. Instructor changes happen often, so you cannot experience consistency in being taught with each having different methods. Office politics between instructor and students existed, making this experience an overall, unpleasant and uncomfortable one.

There’s a stark difference between pilots and Aviators,FTA makes aviators.I have no doubt that they created the best possible flight training environment for me , from ground school to flying it’s simply the best the industry can offer :)

Excellent training facilities, from ground school to flying. Along with good instructors who were extremely helpful, my training at FTA was a very pleasant experience. Highly recommended!

If you're serious about aviation as a career FTA is the destination. No where else has the resources, connections, or safety culture that FTA provides to any of its students, including the private student VET program that got me to where I am today.

As a student who has just gone from never being in a training aircraft in his life to getting his cpl within 9 months I could not recommend FTA more. The integrated program is designed to take you in as an inexperienced student to a fully fledged pilot within a year and the faculty works relentlessly to help you achieve that. There was not a single point in my training where I had an issue was not offered any sort of assistance. Both the ground school and flying side were always quick to check up on me and help me with whatever I needed. Contrary to what people may think pilot training is intense. There is quite a lot that goes into becoming a pilot however FTA takes the extra steps to make sure they make it as easy as possible for their students. I wholeheartedly recommend FTA to any budding aviators out there!

FTA has a world class training facilities including accommodations. Having been trained from FTA, I can surely say they have high standard of training . I have really enjoyed my time being at FTA.
