My FootDr Podiatry Indooroopilly

Tried to make an appointment by telephone at 4.40pm and got message to leave number and would call back. Next day, still no answer and left message again. HOPELESS!Will try other podiatry.

Life changing orthotics and feedback on my gait. Recently diagnosed with an inflammatory arthritis, Sebastian gave me a very thorough assessment and provided a comprehensive report to my rheumatologist. I'm proud to have him on my allied healthcare team.

By far the best podiatry centre I've ever been to! The podiatrist was able to alert me to a stress fracture in my foot before i even had scans done. He then successfully treated my foot after my moonboot was taken off, with advice on appropriate footwear and excellent customised orthotics. Without his expertise and advice i think my foot would not have had such a good outcome. Even the sports physician didnt give me such good advice as this podiatrist. He was extremely thorough in his assessment and treatment and has a wonderful manner. I will be going here for life.

After conducting a comprehensive assessment and review of my entire family’s feet I was impressed with the time Dr Seb invested in explaining the process, results and actions required to improve our situation. The children adored him and we all felt at ease. We will certainly return as we were impressed with his knowledge, skills and gentle approach.

First time for me seeing a podiatrist so I knew no better. Went in for consultation to be told by podiatrist he needed to see how my foot was working etc so asked me to step on this machine and walk on the treadmill and a few other things. Did as asked and then was charged over $250!! When I queried they said the consultation did not include the tests. At no point was it ever mentioned these 'tests' were extra!! I knew no better so begrudgingly paid. Basically all they did was run these 'tests' on my foot and then told me to buy better shoes. I think the guy touched my foot for less than a minute all up. Expensive shoes and a month later my foot pain was much worse so tried another podiatrist. Decided to try another one because I didn't really like the FootDr podiatrist that much, it felt like he really could care less about my pain. Well, the podiatrist at a different clinic spent over 30 minutes massaging and flexing my feet and checking every area for pain, gave me shock wave therapy and strapped both my feet. All this for only $75! I actually felt like the new podiatrist cared and really listened to my issue. FootDr clearly cares only about how much money they can make out of you! Stay away!

The podiatrist was very thorough, explained my options with cost and likeliness of fixing my pain. I went with custom orthotics and when I had them fitted he cut them to fit perfectly in my shoes, even without removable insoles.He was also easy going and both him and receptionist were very pleasant.

Knowledgable, professional, pleasant and courteous staff couldn't do enough to help me. Great to have such a good local service in an easy to access location.

As a doctor, who also has an autoimmune spinal condition, I can say Sebastian was the best podiatrist I've been seen. I've needed orthotics for many years and they have always helped, but the work up I had from My FoodDr was second to none. He took care to explain each step and was happy to answer all my (probably pretty annoying) questions in detail. Each of his tests were purposeful and evidence based, creating a more complete picture of my podiatry needs. If your are looking for a foot massage and unproven therapies to give you a placebo effect, this is not the clinic for you. However, if you are looking for a caring and educated health professional who will go the extra mile to provide advice and therapies that will actually help you feel better from the toes up, Sebastian is your man.
