My daugther started at year 7 without much confidence. But the college staff really helped her shine. Now she is year 10 and participated in public speaking comp and interschool debate. We really appreciated the wonderful homeroom teacher and English teachers effort to make her a better person. Sacred Heart is definitely a school which focus on students' development.

My daughter commenced in year 7 this year and from the first day of school she has loved every minute. There are so many opportunities to be a part of this amazing college and the teachers are so wonderful and supportive. She has made so many friends that I am sure will last a lifetime and the education provided is outstanding. So in love with Sacred Heart Girls College

If I could give this institute 0 stars I would.Sacred Heart is the epitome of everything a school SHOULDN'T represent. The very man who governs this school places his personal agenda over the welfare of his own students. Through my time in this 'education environment', the only thing I gained was shattered confidence and a broken spirit. This school takes a holistic approach in squandering young women, and turning impressionable young girls into fragile, insecure and stressed women, navigating their adolescence in fear of the restrictive uniform policy and being targeted on by the demeaning staff at the school.DO NOT risk sending your daughter here.

Not too bad. I've been here for a few years and my opinion on this place always seems to change. Rumors spread like wildfire, and the teachers use them as an excuse to get kids in trouble. Strict uniform rules are a big issue, and this school has developed a bad reputation over time because of incidents involving teachers and the principal.

I went to this school 20 years ago and it is on my list of potential schools to send my daughter. At the time most teachers were exceptional, bar a few that took discipline wayyy to seriously and dented my confidence as an already shy child. I came out very well academically but the whole time I was there I felt somewhat in a fish bowl because the school grounds are so small and ... yes uniform rules too strict. Guess that’s why I just put my head down and studied & kept out of trouble. Although they do put a lot of emphasis on doing homework and studying hard rather than a holistic approach. For students who are explorative learners such as budding scientists this method would probably stunt their interest. The school under the then principal Tom Kendall had great vision and catholic purpose. They embedded in the students Catholic values including acceptance of each others’ differences, stamping out a lot of nastiness amongst the girls ( although there were minor teasing, it was nothing major). I had a reunion a few years back. Got to say all the women there were genuinely nice people. Can someone with a recent experience at the school please provide a genuine review with pros and cons on academic teaching and pastoral care at the school. An update on this review. We walked through the science corridor during an open morning & saw the poster on independent & independent variables. It reminded me how much foundation knowledge I acquired during high school which I still use. It is schools’ purpose to teach new skills including instilling strong work ethics. This, Sacred Heart does well.

Bad. Very bad school. Bullies, teachers that don’t care, racist, hate on other religions, overwork students, lie about caring about you mental health. Overall a terrible school. Worst school I’ve ever been to.

I am very disappointed with the way that teachers at this school have treated my daughter. She was not listened to in a situation where her point was said to be heard, but rather yelled over. Considering that this school is known for it's active cultural and religious diversity amongst the students and staff as well as the acceptance and constant instigating with the topic of peace and cultural importance, this situation has personally shocked me when my daughter came home crying. Do hope that other students do not have to endure this.

Been sending my 2 girls here. My oldest graduted 5 yrs ago, so I hv the younger one here. Honestly, I never hv any probs with the school. Feel sorry if any of u stumble with one. They all lovely staff, and very supportive with my girls. If u complaints bout bullying at school, well 99% it will happens in every school, one say or another. Its our job to tell the girls how to avoid it and how to react correctly. Choose ur friends wisely.Too much homework?? C'mon! U guys are lucky not going to Asian schools.. backhome we used to hv 3 homeworks everyday and tests as well everyweek. If u can't handle homeworks, how can u handle the real job later? At least that what I've been telling my girls. It's a tough world out there.
