Eagles Rest, Berry and Woodhill Mountain

Eagles Rest has everything and more! It is such a beautiful home with the most spectacular views! We were there over Easter 2018 with friends and family for my 40th birthday and it did not disappoint! The extra space in the loft above the garage was fantastic for all of our guests. The amenities were clean and tidy, kitchen equipment outstanding, enough cutlery, cups, etc for all guests. I can't fault it! We all had such an amazing time at Eagles Rest and would recommend it to anyone looking for a getaway for a large group. A perfect venue for our staff planning retreat. Plenty of space to accommodate our large group but also there was plenty of space for individuals to have time alone. Stunning location with views that were breathtaking. The house was beautifully appointed with luxurious towels and shower products. From the moment I booked my stay at Eagles Rest I knew I was in for a wonderful weekend, Michael the owner was wonderfully helpful with all of my enquiries and provided a detailed document on things to do in and around Berry and how to operate all household equipment. Our time at Eagles rest was spent relaxing taking in some of the most spectacular views I've ever seen. From young to old their was something for everyone. The house was magnificent and comfortably fit our family of 20. I will definitely book another stay here.

Just spent an amazing week at Eagles Rest. This was our second visit to this beautiful property. 2 years ago when we visited it was for my brother in laws 70th and this time for one of our 5 sons wedding that was at Willow Farm. Both times the communication was excellent with the owner Michael and the house was immaculate on our arrival. Such a wonderful place for a gathering with either family or friends. Would highly recommend it for an intimate wedding venue as the views are amazing and a very private setting. I have always dreamt about a week away with all our children and grandchildren and Eagles Rest fulfilled that dream. There is so much room for everybody. There are lots of areas to sit have some quiet time if needed. Watching the children play in the large level yard was great. We all had so much fun with hoola hoops bat and ball games footy and soccer andtree climbing. We have talked as a family about making this a yearly event as everyone loved it. A stunning mountaintop hideaway:Our family stayed at this property in December 2015 and can highly recommend it.The home itself is modern, finished to the highest of standards, and enjoys a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains and Berry itself. The outdoor BBQ and fireplace that adjoin the kitchen is brilliant. It has comfortable, high quality furniture and the most extensive range of kitchen equipment I’ve ever seen! DVD’s, a pool table and board games are also provided.Berry is only a short drive away, as is the beach, and the owner is wonderful to deal with.A stay at this property is food for the soul.

My partner Colette and I were looking for a wedding reception venue on the South Coast and Eagle's Rest was recommended to us by our caterer. We arranged a viewing of the property and were immediately blown away by the sheer scale of the property (it can sleep up to 20 and has plenty of function space), the beautiful grounds and the stunning, panoramic view of the coast. Michael, the owner, was incredibly friendly and very helpful, promptly answering all of our questions in the lead up to the big day and even liaising at one point with the party supply people. He has done a great job maintaining the property, and the outdoor fire place and sound system (includingoutdoor speakers) played a huge role in our memorable little celebration. Eagle's Rest is remarkably good value and I hope to stay there again soon. Our guests were equally impressed, and many told us they were contemplating a return visit themselves. Thanks Michael!

The location,views, size, layout and facilities of this short-stay rental property is excellent. Pictures don't do it justice. Owner is easy to deal with and helpful. Close to the quaint village of Berry. A fabulous place for a small to medium size group get together or special place for a garden wedding and reception if you organise your own local caterer.

We had the most incredible few days at this property. The house and the views are simply stunning. The location feels remote yet is conveniently close to Berry town. The nearby hiketo Drawing Room rocks is gorgeous and the nearby Kangaroo Valley is also beautiful.We used Eagles Rest for an intimate Yoga Retreat and it was just perfect. The hosts were so lovely and helpful throughout, nothing seemed to be a problem or too much trouble. We couldn't have been happier and will definitely use this property again.

What a magnificent place to celebrate my magnificent Dad’s 80th birthday.All the grandkids could be there with plenty of space to feel incredibly comfortable. We had bocce and finska on the lawn, stories by the outdoor fire, and wonderful feasts prepared in the great kitchen and BBQ. There was nothing else we needed - Eagle’s Rest had it all.Michael could not have been more accomodating with all of our requests, and facilitated what will be the best memory for the whole family.Thankyou!
