Stunning location steeped with history and walking tracks next to a picturesque beach. Old quarantine facility near by that seems to be opening for the public for exploration, gun placements and command locations dating back to WW2. Overall fun for a walk, great for exploring!

Beautiful place for a bushwalk with stunning views. I recommend doing the forts walk down to the beach then walking back to the car park along the beach. Not an easy walk as its along a gravel road and over rocks, however my mum did it & she had a bad knee. Well worth the effort.

Concrete bunkers desperately constructed to protect against an invasion that never came.

Due to the rain, the road was flooded this time do unable to get through. But definitely looks lovely now with some fresh water. Water was right up to the road etc. Sorry didn't get photos this time.

Great place to take the family. This is a lovely place to come on your own or with the family. The tracks are dirt and rough with stairs to some walks. Not recommended for people with mobility issues as the path can be in even in places also this is a shared area for mountain bike riders. With some short and long walks around the area you will be sure to have a great walk with beautiful scenic views. We went walking around the WWII buildings and went looking for the grave site. A local did warn us that there is a nudist beach on the north side if the cape so beware of the young eyes.It looks like a popular place for fishing and wedding photos. Take plenty if sunscreen and water and enjoy the walks.

Make the effort to visit for sunrise. Unfortunately, we had cloud the morning we arrived, but it was still beautiful. Drive to the park carpark and it's a 1-2 walk to the lookout which is a WW2 bunker.

Great walk/hike if your wanting somewhere new to walk the walk we did was 1.9kms But that wasn't the whole walk it goes further then that a further 9kms. The track is available by foot or a mountain bike. Also there is plenty of parking, no toilets only toilets are where the pallarenda swimming area (stinger nets).
