Isabella's Trattoria
On entering we were asked if we booked and when we said no we were told to highly recommend that you book next time. When we were seated we received two separate sarcastic comments about our mobile phones that were on the table.Then our entree was slammed on the table without a word. Our main meal was the same. The food was lovely but the service was not friendly or inviting. Very disappointing.

Called in to taste some traditional Italian. The serving size was amazing, absolutely value for money with the amount of seafood added, however I did feel the sauce was runny/soupy and did not stick to the pasta. The service was great and friendly, they seemed very busy for a Thursday night however the food was hot and fresh.Thanks ☺️

Great dinner spot in Mudgee town centre. Servings are extremely generous - definitely bring an appetite! Our server was very patient (and entertaining) as he explained the dishes, and they didn't disappoint. The pastas are amazing, favourite being the prawn and chorizo with a nice bite of chilli in the chorizo. The meatball/ribs combo platter was also delicious, with the meat coming off the ribs like butter. An epic feast to be sure!

The best Italian restaurant in Mudgee serving authentic Italian fare. What's more, the owner of the restaurant will keep you amused with his pleasantly witty remarks and conversation making the evenings an enjoyable one. Advanced booking essential as it is a very popular restaurant.

Another great restaurant in Mudgee. Lovely decor. The pastas were excellent and were of generous servings! The ribs were soft and falling off the bone. The guy who served us was helpful in making suggestions and entertaining. Great way to celebrate a birthday dinner!

I would 100% recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Mudgee - especially because it was almost full on a Wednesday night.We arrived in Mudgee late afternoon and was craving pasta after a very long road trip. We found this very cute and beautiful restaurant in the central part of town. The service was great, especially the daughter of the owner of the restaurant. She was extremely friendly, helpful and efficient during our service - to top it off, she gave me and my partner great suggestions for local wineries and distilleries in the Mudgee area. Left feeling extremely full with doggy bags in my hand because of the generous serving size and we also couldn’t let the food go to waste. The food was absolutely superb, delicious and more than satisfied my pasta craving.Thank you to the team at the restaurant. It was a great experience and will probably go back the following night!

We had been recommended by a local friend to try out this Italian restaurant whilst on a Mudgee Wine Tour Trip. Hands down one of the best Italian food I've had in quite some time. Great atmosphere. Great friendly staff. Good portions. Flavoursome food. We had Prosciutto, Feta and Asparagus Crostini, Spaghetti with Chorizo and Prawns and Slow Braised Pork Ribs with Italian Meatballs and would highly recommend these dishes to anyone! Definitely will revisit on our next trip up. Thank you Isabella's Trattoria for an awesome experience!

Food was devine, no other words for it. Definitely need to book and the husband and wife who run it are lovely....dry sense of humour too.I'll definitely go back when I'm in Mudgee
