You can do much better for the price. No dishwasher, very dark kitchen and sparsely decorated. Noisy in the bedroom in the morning with vehicles going past to hardware shop. No Foxtel or Netflix etc. On plus side, bed in apt 5 was comfortable and it appeared to be new. Plenty of towels

Our favourite place to stay in Lorne. Converted from the old squash courts with an architect designed fit out, the vibe was hip and a bit experimental (even if the experiment was not 100%sucesfful as in the bathrooms), now renovated and unfortunately more humdrum (ie the corny sea-scape watercolour in the bedroom), but nevertheless still wonderful. Perfect views, particularly from the top floors, right on the main drag (though set back from it just enough to not feel oppressed by it). We'll be back.
