Biggest scam of a pet shop, puppy and kitten farming, mistreatment of all animals, trying to sell you more products for the animals and not letting you leave without doing so, so many are going to report this place and hopefully it gets shut down. You should be ashamed of yourselves. Greedy and unethical. Wish 0 stars was an option. Awful.

Update: One died this morning.Did you know there was a character limit? I didn’t. The full review can be found on Facebook.TLDR:Bought Quakers 2 weeks ago, told were weaned, but weren’t. Weren’t fledged.Severely underweight. Have an underlying disease awaiting results after having had tests. Is now on strict feeding routine and medications. Have been given a very minute chance of survival. Ultimately suggest blame of breeder for poor living conditions suspected, but birds weren’t health checked, sold unweaned, and with incorrect materials (seeds and pellets when we needed formula) and bowls when we needed syringes and feeding spoons. We also left with the incorrect information, obviously. The wing clip that the owner of the store said they did perfectly so that the wing will grow back so well that would affect the birds life, was so poorly done it’s suggested we clip the other so it doesn’t suffer for the rest of its life and become unable to fly forever. (She said they’d grow back in 6 months and be able to fly in a year, the professional suggests it will take maybe 2-3 years to get them just to that usual 10 week stage of being fledged.The breeder should not be allowed to sell, the pet store shouldn’t buy from them again and investigate what went wrong here and to be made to do some sort of course on clipping wings/ not offer it on birds she can’t safely clip. I don’t know if the bird struggled, but it’s saddening.I’ve been given a 70 (early stages)-90% (late stages: obvious signs) chance of having to euthanise these birds because of it all.Recommendation to all: after buying any animal from any pet store, take it straight to the vet for a check up. Have the money aside. I’ve spent the cost of the birds in vet bills and have a they have such a long term recovery to go.I’m sorry it’s taken so long to get this review up, it’s been a stressful time researching, rushing to vet appointments and determining blame before pointing fingers, and unweaning the birds to see if that was the only issue as the disease hadn’t a chance to show prior until they were unhealthy/underweight enough to not fight it.We now have to maintain a strict environment to ensure their body doesn’t need to use any energy and do what their body should be doing naturally for them.Devastated

First time I have been to this pet shop and was first impressed with being greeted as soon as my son and I entered the shop. A young lady assisted us with a new goldfish. My son saw one he loved and the lady bagged it for him. All was good until she blew into the bag! I have been to many pet shops for fish and I have never seen anyone blow carbon dioxide into the bag, usually they have an oxygen tank.I was in total shock! As there wasn’t another in the shop of similar colouring I ran back home so we could save the fish. I swear if it dies, we won’t be returning there to get another, we have learnt our lesson.

Thank you for making the experience of buying my first puppy such an enjoyable, helpful & supportive one. Your knowledge, experience, advise and support exceeded my expectations. I’ve almost had my cavoodle for a week and he is adorable & had such a great nature about him. I just bought my new toy cavoodle from Pet and Aquarium World and I love it to bits. The staff were all very helpful and knew everything about my dog and what it needs/likes. I was ran through the ways to care for my puppy and the process was made so easy. I will definitely return in the future!

They sell puppies from puppy mills. No ethical registered breeder sells their dogs to pet stores avoid any pet store selling puppies or kittens they’re all sourced from puppy farms

Oh my goodness, this is hands down the most amazing pet store in narellan. Trust me, forget the other stores and shop here, because i am.Firstly it is family owned and run by the most amazing and knowledgeable staff.They sell so many live animals from fish, birds, rabbits and Guinea pigs.But the absolute point of difference is that they sell baby hens and baby ducks, I was like a little kid again and I'm sure I have dreamt of this place and now I had found it I didn't want to leave.I was going in to buy a fish net for my tank and I left with a cleaner snail for my fish tank, 2 baby chickens and if there were ducks I would have left with them as well. Ducks come in every Friday, so if anyone needs me Friday you know were I will be, at the pet and aquarium shop in narellan. I more than recommend this place its a must shopI just added a photo of my chick's almost fully grown that I bought from the pet shop

i wish i could give zero stars. this company absolutely scammed me when i wanted to a buy a “hand raised” cockatiel - this poor bird was definitely not hand raised and was aggressive. i spent almost $600 on this bird as the employees said i NEEDED all of these products which i definitely didn’t, completely took advantage of a first time bird owner. Not even 2 weeks later the bird had passed away and this company did not care, they said i was able to come back in and get another cockatiel 1/2 off - i just want my money back, not a replacement bird which i would have to give them even more money for. do not go here, horrible people who have been taught to scam people. disgusting.
