ASG 4x4

Professional tradesmen and for me great customer service!

We had a brand new Toyota Landcruiser converted with ASG 4x4.Began positive, ended horribly. Purchased through a Toyota dealer we did the negotiating with ASG.* Told conversion would take 8 weeks. Actual 28 weeks + 3 days ( and full of faults and delivery was refused by Toyota until works were done to standard): Fault lists (not complete just majors)- extensive paint work damage, weld splatter, grind marks, chips to entire body of vehicle, rust under the vehicle)*Rear seats were not returned with vehicle ( this company onward sells them ) this took enormous effort to get them to freight our seats.*Toolboxes on vehicle did not contour with vehicle and leaked dust and water*Rubbers around 2 doors were damaged and need to be replaced* There were anderson plugs on the headboard that they fitted ( they were not accessible?!)*Interior of the car required full detailing due to metal shavings and dust throughout the vehicle*Demanded payment for conversion on 22 December, stating the vehicle was near completion and the vehicle would not be released until payment received Vehicles first delivery was March 11th.*Two rubber stops were touching the chassis- there is a requirement for a gap - safety and feedback through the steering wheel.Unfortunately ASG 4x4 took limited responsibility for their poor workmanship, the vehicle was returned to them for repairs after Toyota refused it and on return many issues were still present. The vehicle was driven 320km only and the vehicle experienced engine failure ( injector damage 10K damage) this had never been seen by Toyota and it cannot be answered why this occurred - not sure it was a coincidence? End result we had to pursue legal action to have repairs reimburse and a third party finally repaired all damages including a vehicle a full respray.. The whole process was extremely disappointing, stressful and unwarranted.Would not recommend

I highly recommend ASG if you’re thinking of converting your wagon. Great guys to deal with, I received regular updates on the process. The quality of workmanship is amazing, it was a stress free process and I’m blown away with the results. My 2014 land cruiser got the midi conversion and it’s such a more practical vehicle now and I can’t wait to finish turning it into my ultimate tourer. I would not hesitate going back to these guys if ever I did another car, thanks ASG.

Couldn’t recommend the boys a ASG 4x4 highly enough, easy to deal with, nothing is an issue.I purchased one of the last 200 series from Toowoomba Toyota, the boys from ASG picked it up and took it to there work shop (as I don’t live in the Toowoomba area), they kept me updated every week through pictures and texts of the process of how my 200 chop was going. The conversion was a slower process then normal due to couldn’t get parts etc (Covid). Once the process was finished and the Car was ready to pick up it needed to be registered, Brenton was happy to help out at the Main Roads Department which was over an hours wait.Here are a few of the pictures the guys sent me along the process.
