Vinnies Scone

I would love to have spent more time exploring this charity shop but the older lady managing the shop on the day made us feel so unwelcome. I had my two granddaughters ( age 18 months and nearly 4) with me and they are very used to and quite good at shopping in 2nd hand shops. We go regularly. I may be biased but they are pretty well behaved. They don’t grab at things and put things back after they have looked at them.She followed them around like a hound and ordered them about. At one stage they were sitting quietly under a rack, looking at a toy and she ordered them out of there. It didn’t make sense. They were quiet and out of everyone’s way!It’s a charity shop - be welcoming and charitable!!

Wonderful staff very friendly and helpful.

Today for the first time I felt quite unwelcome. I was there about 10 am and a lady who I had not seen before was quite abrasive when asked normal polite questions. I always go on a Monday and those ladies are excellent and worth 5 stars but not this lady today at 10 am Thursday She should not work the front desk as she is not suitable.

Very friendly. Nice and clean.
