Sun was shining, a spot of picnic lunch and a walk around the ruins and diggings with the family. Terrible way to spend an afternoon. Will pop back.

Great place for a walk to explore gold mining relics and ruins, and orchid spotting in later winter/spring

Interesting diggings from the gold rush era, lots of excavation that runs along the road. Not bad, easy to view from a car. There's some better sights in the area though
