I have recently been studying French with Linda and have found her to be a wonderful teacher. She is incredibly patient, explains things well and has been an amazing help to me. I am so grateful to have found someone like Linda who is not only a great teacher but is also a really lovely lady. I can highly recommend her to anyone who is thinking of studying the French language. I studied French at school and have gone back to learning the language a few times, but Linda is definitely the best teacher I have ever had.

Linda is a fantastic tutor, I can’t recommend her highly enough. Her lessons are fun and engaging and she has a real passion for teaching. She understands how tricky learning a language can be and is always on hand to help. Through one on one lessons I feel my French has improved in so many ways and also my confidence. She creates a wonderful learning environment and I would encourage anyone wanting to learn/ improve their French to not hesitate to contact her.

Linda provides a well-rounded approach to learning French. She provides ample resources and is clearly well-hearsed in the nuances of the language. She explains and contextualises concepts in simple-to-understand ways, which makes learning enjoyable and encouraging. For a beginner like myself, she has helped accelerate the learning process and has got me to a good foundation level already (within 2 months).I highly recommend Linda. She is highly qualified, knows how to teach using different styles, and most importantly understands the needs of her student.

Linda is an excellent tutor. She tutored me in preparation for my year 12 exams, specifically for the oral element as this was the most difficult part and the part most people are nervous about. Thanks to Linda, I managed to receive the top mark. My writing skills were also greatly improved under Linda's tutelage. She is always organized and gave us countless useful resources.Linda is also a very friendly and cheerful person. Within the first session, the initial formal environment became casual and comfortable.If you would like to improve your french or even learn from scratch, whether listening, reading, writing or speaking, I highly recommend Linda.

I have been a student of Linda's since 2015 and she has helped me gain confidence and enhance my skills immensely. I have enjoyed and thoroughly appreciated her commitment, bubbly personality and our friendship. And I look forward to being apart of her classes for the first time. Linda is a very lovely lady with great taste in her french house decorating which really makes it feel homey. Linda is the most amazing tutor !Not only Is she a kind, caring and an easy to get along with host.. Linda also creates a fun and happy learning environment, making each lesson a great and positive experience.Personality aside, Linda is an excellent teacher. Her knowledge of the french language and how to teach it is amazing ! I can appreciate that every lesson is structured for me to learn at a pace that im comfortable learning at. In addition, when i get stuck on some things, Linda always finds a way of explaining it so that I can easily understand.I would highly recommend Linda and look foward to continue learning french.

Linda is a wonderful teacher and I look forward to attending my lessons with her every week. Her friendly and approachable manner makes learning French an enjoyable experience. Linda always takes the extra step to explain the context in which you will use the words or phrases and she gives examples that are easy to grasp and remember. Also, when correcting a mistake, she does so encouragingly and is always so patient.It’s not often you meet a teacher that makes learning fun!

We have been learning French with Linda for the past 7 months and she is fantastic! Linda is fun, engaging, very patient and an amazing teacher - she has tailored all of our lessons to suit our needs. I signed up with Linda last year as I was planning a trip to France. Initially it was for the tourist course but as Covid put a stop to my holiday and I was enjoying learning French with Linda, I decided to keep going with weekly lessons.Not only is Linda French but she is also a really good teacher. She is very engaging, very happy to tailor the lessons to your own personal needs. She has given me some very good suggestions on how to complement the lessons, which has helped me learn a lot faster than I had anticipated.I also really appreciate how she explains the nuances of the language and culture, why some ways of saying things will come across as being quite rude to the French people and also her attention to pronunciation. And importantly if I have a question or can’t understand the homework between lessons I can always email her and she will respond within the day so you never feel “alone” in your French journey.

I recently started taking weekly French lessons with Linda (using Skype) and happily recommend her as an excellent teacher. Her lessons are very engaging and fun and she is aways well prepared. Linda presents well structured course content with clear learning outcomes but is also very willing to modify her lessons according to student interests or needs.I have been learning French gradually through weekly group classes for two years, but the benefits of individual tuition are clear after just a few lessons with Linda.
