Country Bakehouse Accommodation

This is another place that cant be judged from outside. It is an old bakery and the inside is quite luxurious with a large lounge, large main bedroom with a sunny annex all with quality furnishings blending the vintage of the rooms. There is a large bathroom and separate toilet, a separate dining room and a second bedroom all fitting with quality and style. A large and very well equipped kitchen with a big table is attached and includes a generous supply of food for breakfast.It is really like staying in a house where the owner has just left you the run of the place. And what other accommodation provides an unused full size cakes of soap.WiFi is not included but mobile broadband reception is good.If visiting Burra or just looking for a stopover this is a great place to choose.

Carol made out stay at the Country Bakehouse an absolute treat. We had a lovely stay in this cosy place with plenty of room for all our staff. Can't recommend enough.

My large family and I had a wonderful stay at the Country Bakehouse. Carol gives an amazing level of service and was very helpful and accommodating. It was toasty warm with heaters, lovely bedrooms and loungeroom. So many sweet little decorations and games that made our stay special. Plus I was in the bedroom with a sitting room which I loved. It was also very clean and breakfast items were provided. Will definitely stay again when we are back in Spalding

Very comfortable, homely and lots to discover within the house. You could easily stay with 3 families and have plenty of space for yourself. We plan to go back with some friends as a base for a weekend exploring the Clare Valley.The host was very friendly and accommodating.

Large rooms, lovingly renovated to reflect a historic country homr, very cosy bed, well equipped kitchen, small garden area to sit out back, or watch life passing by with a cuppa on the front verandah! Friendly service from owner Carol.

This was a really nice place to stay. We had the whole place to ourselves, and it was really quiet. The beds were comfy, and the breakfast was tasty.

I cannot recommend Carol and her accommodation enough.Very country, lovely old house, large yard with loads of parking room, pub and shop across the road, comfy warm beds with electric blankets, lovely lounge room,.etc etc!Carol even turned the heat on for us as we're arriving late on a cold Friday night.10/10 A+ will buy again

Best place to stay in Spalding. As a hiker I was blown away by the owners willingness to help us out with transport to various locations. Absolutely will come and stay again. Amazing hospitality.

Great place. Lovely owner. Great facilities. Great coffee in the kitchen. Well maintained and obviously loved by the owners.

Loved every minute of our stay. We spent a week here and Carol was very hospitable. She gave us local advice on places we could visit and attractions to check out. The house was well presented, clean and fully kitted out with everything you would possibly need on your stay. We were a family of 5 and there was ample room for all of us.
