Average food (probably below par) but very rude service. Read all the one star reviews here and you’ll see why…There were 4 empty tables inside and 6 groups of people waiting outside on the pavement in the cold (2 groups with babies). We waited for at least 15 minutes but no one came out to acknowledge us or let us know roughly how long the wait would be yet they kept serving takeaway coffees and ignoring people trying to ask a question. So we opened the door to ask a staff if we could get seated first and the waitress literally shut the door on us without a single word (plus a duck face).Thought Japanese were supposed to be nice and polite?PS really came here for the food so if the food was good I would’ve put up with the service and attitude and still give this place a decent rating. But alas the food was totally overpriced for what it is (spent close to $100 for 2) - the Japanese set looks nice but tastes bland, daikon in the soup wasn’t even properly cooked through - I could easily make the miso salmon at home myself.PPS just because others didn’t come into the shop to check didn’t mean they were happy customers. A few shared our sentiment and 2 groups left during the process. But guess it didn’t matter to you as others will fill the queue quickly enough for you.

Excellent in every single way.Service - Better than fine dining. Just wowwwFood - decorate like fine diningPrice - normal cafe price but with the quality of service and food ingredients just way too cheap to sell at this price.Shop environment - amazing. Very cozy shop next to station with a lovely view.

Service was top notch. I love this place which is on the same street as our office. A little gem in Yarraville serving authentic, specially curated clean Japanese, some Korean and vietnamese food/drinks. My favourite dish was the bimbimbap and my partner enjoyed the Kaisen Don. Coffee was great. I would definitely be back.

Lovely atmosphere. Delicious coffee - highly recommend the cold brew.We didn’t get a chance to try the lunch sets (we didn’t have time) but they looked and sounded great.Service was wonderful and the owner was very attentive. We will definitely be back to try more.

I would say my overall experience in Coracle was good. We have been living in Sydney for years and tried many Asian-styled brunch shops before. Having a similar restaurant in Melbourne which was also close to where we live was great. The staff welcomed us warmly and kindly introduced what they could offer. We ordered a Japanese set, Taiwanese style popcorn chicken pancake and milk bread. The taste was ok, however it did not impress us too much. The service and the vibe were what we really liked. That sunny morning made the shop feel clean and bright. We had a good time talking and having meals here.

We discovered this place by accident. We went for coffee and came back as a group for lunch. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the food very tasty and beautifully presented.

Very unique & creative menu with mix of Japanese, Vietnamese, Taiwanese etc dishes. We arrived at around 10am on a Sunday and didn’t have to wait, but lines started forming pretty soon after.Service is very friendly but could be smoother; had to wait awhile for order to be taken and dishes to be served.Favourites:- Oat matcha latte- Vietnamese coconut coffee (iced)- Popcorn chicken in scallion pancake
