The school has amazing facilities, great staff and very welcoming students. It has been such a great option for our family, really thankful for the opportunity my son has to go here.

Do not waste your time and money sending your children to this school. It looks like it has great facilities when you do a tour and the office people are nice, but the school is a massive let down, not worthy of half a star. I can confirm what other parents are saying about the bullying from teachers. My three children all lost interest in school thanks to some of the most dull and ordinary teachers we have come in contact with. Some of them make horrible comments to the children and are horrible to deal with as a parent. Do yourself and your children a favour and look elsewhere. My son was constantly being harassed for his hair being too long (just touching his eyebrows) and was being sent to RTC for it, while the school promotes pictures on social media of boys with much longer hair. NCC was not a nice experience, my children have moved on and are much happier for it, I regret the time they wasted there, not to mention losing the confidence they had before going.

There are so many reasons I pulled my children from this school. However my experience with Nambour Christian College extends farther than just the unfortunate experience of paying them to ruin my children's confidence and education, (who by the way 2 years out are now flourishing personally and academically in their new school)I employ people on the Sunshine Coast and have had the opportunity to employ four past students from NCC in professional roles. Across the board, not one of them could spell. Their grasp on grammar was non existent. Their mathematical ability was non-existent without a calculator and all had to be told on many occasion which operation they should be using in order to find the answer. I don't know what kind of woke curriculum they are employing there, but I would not expect a real education for your money. Needless to say these ex NCC students expected to get paid just for showing up. (maybe they expected to get a C just for attending school?) They are no longer employed by my firm. The one good thing that I can say about NCC is that we made some wonderful friends whilst there. We are still in contact with them and I listen as their parents (who for their own reasons are not yet able to move their children) call me in frustration to complain about over-billing and the constant fight with their accounts department; bullying of the students by the TEACHERS- this from not one but four different families across middle school and junior school. Bullying because their hair is too long; bullying because a parent who is on bursary support can't afford to buy a formal hat for a year 5 student to wear from the car to the classroom each morning and vice versa in the afternoon; bullying in the form of telling a perfectly healthy child that he is autistic and should be tested (Why is this exactly? So that the school gets more money from the government?).But the number one frustration from all parents I speak with, which I very much shared is lack of any kind of fundamental education. Our children attend/attended this school and without external help could not read nor write nor do basic maths. I am writing this review not just on my behalf but on behalf of the parents whose children are still there but are not prepared to put their name to it as they are afraid to suffer more bullying from the teachers and staff.Save yourself the grief and find a different school for your children.(oh and the 5 star reviews all come from staff or the children of staff)

I have had a long association with this College. My eldest child was at this school from Kindergarten until Year 12. The school provides excellent opportunities through great musical, catering, hospitality and sporting programmes, plus a drama department that is second to none. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable, providing the right balance between nurture and challenge. My second child continues to flourish in this lovely school environment. I am grateful that we, as a family, have been a part of such a wonderful community. Highly recommend.

please dont waste your time sending your kids here, the teachers bully the students and care more about how the students make the schools reputation look instead of the students mental health. the dress code is very old fashioned and they worry about what length your hair is more then the wellbeing of all the students that go here.

A few years ago, we had to pull our youngest out of this school for teacher bullying and because his hair touched his eyebrows..... despite many other boys with even longer hair not being equally reprimanded. After meeting with the worst teacher offender who admitted to having our son in his sights, whatever that means.....(who is currently still teaching) and heads of school, absolutely nothing was done to rectify the situation. We left discouraged, annoyed and so so disappointed, and with our son struggling to accept himself for the amazing young man he was and still is.Our son flourished in his new school so we made the right decision..... and his hair was allowed to touch his eyebrows! It saddens me to see continual reviews stating teacher bullying is still an issue. Please look elsewhere for a school.... especially high school. This is not a place you want to send your child if you want them encouraged, supported and treated like the valuable young people they are ......which is exactly what his new school did and still does.UPDATE: emailed the school as was suggested in their response to this review but of course no reply. Complete lack of care, action and common courtesy of a response still non-existant.

Our three children attend NCC and we find it an exceptional school. The staff are professional, enthusiastic and sincerely care not only for the children, but the family as a whole. Wonderful extra curricular activities, beautiful grounds and excellent classroom resources.

This school has been home for both our children for their entire schooling. It has provided a safe environment for them to develop and explore and learn in, with caring teachers and a beautiful campus. I highly recommend it as an excellent Christian school on the coast. The large bus fleet makes getting to the College easy for anyone.

The School cares more about appearance than education. The boys have to shave very often and they suspend you if you wear the wrong socks more than 3 times. The school has 'claimed morals' yet some teachers still swear. Some teachers are good but some absolutely abuse the RTC system. Asking someone for a pen in class is not a RTC offence and shouldn't be a reason to shame a child/student and have them miss out on school work as a result.Yes the school is a fairly safe place excluding the rare physical fights and marijuana use. But the teachers are sometimes a different story. My daughter and her friend have been screamed at by one of sport teachers and one of the head office by doing something that i wouldn't consider to be that bad.Honestly do not rate the school in the slightest especially since they care more about the student's appearance then their education and i am going to be happy once my child is finished there.

Having worked at multiple Independent Christian schools in QLD, I can honestly say that I feel students are more supported as individuals at NCC than anywhere else. The College's core values are living the values Christ taught, giving it our all, supporting one another, caring for the whole child, achieving our best and caring for the environment. Whilst our academic focus is central, flexibility exists for students who seek to pursue alternative pathways or who have aspirations and talents in other fields such as sports, music and creative arts.
