My wife and I spend our Xmas holidays at Apollo Bay Victoria. We stay at Marengo (dog friendly) caravan park. I took these photos with my drone. #daylesforddrone

One of the best places along The Great Ocean road to relax and recoup your energy. The morning sunrise is just magnificent. The water can be cold but surely refreshing during the summer months. Lots of things to do in the area and local market can be a treat.

Love the wave. Fun. Beautiful beach. Clear& Clean. Life save guard is informative, polite and friendly. No racist. But flooded area in front of toilet. Smelly toilet. Only 1 Shower in front of male and female toilet.

I visit Apollo Bay several times a year for the fishing - it's like Mecca for salmon. I caught five on this trip, which is a so-so day for here. There's big range of accommodation if you want to stay, though it has increased in price quite a bit over the last few years. There's also shopping, walks, distilleries, etc for the fishing widow.
