I first talked with Katherine over the phone to get information on the services she offered. After that brief chat I was convinced that she was the right person for what was needed.Katherine is so understanding, full of empathy and knowledgeable. Over the coming months her sessions were instrumental in providing the tools needed to tackle private matters happening at the time.

As an employer, I engaged the assistance of Katherine from Voxen Counselling to assist with 2 staff members who were having difficulties getting along and communicating. It was a huge relief to have these 2 staff members attend mediating counselling with Katherine.The improvements I have seen as their manager has been outstanding and I am truly thankful. Katherine was incredibly helpful, through our sessions she guided me with diagrams, metaphors and education; this combination created a toolkit to navigate future episodes and built a recovery plan.With the use of metaphors, she formed connections to past life events or experiences and encouraged me to find the connections back to the key stresses triggering at the time. Katherine provides the space for me to feel heard. She inspires trust early in the therapeutic setting and gently leans into my discomfort armed with wonderful tools of support should I choose to make changes as my self awareness expands.
