Adventure Rally X

My tower has now been on the bike for the last 4,500km and it’s rock solid. The bike has taken a few “sleeps” since it was fitted and there’s not a mark on it. I did originally fit the Enduro Tower till they came out with the Rally Replica Tower which has a taller screen, for me it gives much better wind protection than the Enduro Tower for the riding I do.

I have an ARX Gen 1 on my 701 and a Gen 2 on my WR450F and have been happy with them. Yes they did have teething issues, being the first prototypes of each model, but all rectified by ARX. Great after-sale service.

I helped to prototype the mount for crf250l. Communication with the guys were amaizing.The tower i recieved was very good quality, easy to modify if needed.

Purchased a tower last year which arrived with the wrong mounting bracket and 3mm gaps around the light where dust would have filled the headlight when used off-road - it also felt flimsy. When I returned the tower for a refund the shop found a small scratch near a mounting hole and went ahead to charge me the retail price of the whole screen - they reduced this when I complained but the price seemed no where near cost and I'm sure they still sold that screen. They also charged me the original shipping which I think is against consumer law if you are returning something. I ended up buying a tower from nomad adv which is much sturdier and better built - the service has been excellent too. It cost abit more but well worth it I reckon.

I was recently in the market for a rally like fairing and tower for my ultralight adventure bike build. Coming off of a Tiger 800 and landing on a Husqvarna FE I wanted to blend some of the big bike features into my dual sport. I considered many options such as the Adventure Spec Mini Fairing or The Nomad Rally Kit. However, the “trending” products missed the mark on what I needed for my build.One feature of the big bike that I really appreciated was the fact the the navigation unit was stationary and not attached to the handlebars. I found that because of this the steering was lighter and I didn’t have to chase the screen with my eyes every time I hit the littlest bump. Off I went to research some towers and fairings. This quest knocked out some reputable products such as Adventure Spec, Twalcom, MST Rally, 4K, and Adventure Man Cave. All these products mounted to the Triple Tree and would turn with the handle bars.This left me with a few amazing products such as Nomad, Rade Garage, and Rebel X Sports. These were all great choices but so freaking expensive. There was no chance that I was going to spend $1800+ for these setups, it was just too far from my budget. So I searched on and found that HDB Off-road offered a slick little tower. The one thing that I didn’t like was the fact that you need to drill the steering tube. Knowing me, there’s no chance that I’d end up drilling it plumb.So after a ton of searching I finally landed on an Australian company by the name of Adventure Rally X. The offered exactly what I was looking for, a reasonably priced (sub $500) Rally like tower that was stationary. What I found neat was that they offered 2 versions. The “Rally Replica” and the “Enduro”. Ultimately I decided on the enduro as it was a little more unassuming and seem more appropriate for my build.I received the tower 2 months after ordering it. The service and quality has been great. This unit has exceeded all my expectations and I couldn’t be happier. I’d highly recommend ARX to anyone interested in rally towers.
