This place is AWESOME!!! Our goodboi Benji absolutely LOVES going to Margate Country Dog Resort for daycare. He goes 2 days each week and on the mornings he goes, he's up early, has his breakfast and is clawing at the door to go. Being a Kelpie, he is more of a people" dog than a "dog" dog

Our doggy attends daycare here and recently had his overnight trial. It is very reassuring to know that Amanda and the team totally have the dogs welfare at heart, and I would not hesitate to recommend boarding your dog here if you want peace of mind that they will be looked after in a stress free environment. Great customer service, and they treat the dogs like they are part of the family.

Margate Country Kennels, and especially Amanda, have been an absolute Godsend for us and our furbaby, Bear. He travels with us whenever we can take him, but have used Margate on 2 occasions for 2-3 weeks at a time when this was not possible.Bear starts squeaking" with excitement as soon as we turn into Van Morey Rd

Cannot fault the love and care given by Amanda and the team here. My GSD and Cocker absolutely love staying, to the point where my big boy cries as we drive out after pickup! Just fantastic, as a vet nurse myself I would not hesitate to recommend Margate Country Dog resort.

Wonderful place. Our border collie loves to go here for doggie daycare, and it's fantastic to have somewhere we trust to drop her off if we need to go out of town. Plus we get to see videos of her playing each day on their social media!

This is the best dog boarding in Hobart. I have tried several others and, unfortunately, my dog had a very bad experience at another one. Amanda and her team have been so supportive, helpful and willing to go above and beyond to support my Lab and reduce his stress and anxiety after his negative experience elsewhere. Amanda communicates regularly with you as well as providing daily Facebook videos so you can see your fur-baby having the absolute best fun with all their furry mates. I wouldn't leave my dog anywhere else now we've found Margate Dog Resort.

Our beloved Labrador has boarded with Amanda and crew on a number of occasions and has attended daycare. Each time we pull into the car park we become a distant memory for Woolley as he launches himself out of the car with his tail wagging, running through the office and down the hall without so much as a glance back in our direction. It is like a second home! After a few false starts we are so grateful to have found Amanda - we couldn’t recommend her business more highly.
