Do not get gunsmith work done here!Took a rifle in to get some work done, was quoted 2 weeks by the owner who is also the gunsmith. This would have it ready for an upcoming hunting trip.3 months later, when the work was completed"

Fantastic store, well worth the trip. Best place in and around the ACT for reloading supplies, firearms and hunting gear. Huge range of reloading dies, projectiles, powders general reloading gear. Great range of ammunition including some harder to find calibres.Most importantly, the guys are extremely friendly, knowledgable and always willing to help. If you are a shooter or hunter in and around the Canberra region, this is a must visit store.

Great service by Andrew again. Ive been stuffed around by a gunsmith who didn't return all my gun parts so I rang the guys at tough gear on the Saturday, they said they would call back - they did on the Tuesday, I paid over the phone for the part I needed and it was in letterbox by Friday. Great Service.The guys there are great and knowledgeable. Prices will match or beat places in Sydney and Melbourne and they go out of their way to help whether it be over the phone or in person. Couldn't recommend them enough. I don't bother going anywhere else.Went in there again last weekend. The store is now a lot bigger with a wider range of scopes and gear etc. I was served by Andrew this time - same great service and knowledge as the rest of the team. Thanks again.

Been going to ToughGear for several years now. They are by far the number 1 gun store in the ACT region. Andrew in particular is a wealth of knowledge and has assisted me immensely. Keep up the good works guys.

Basically 2 choices of stores in the Nation's capital and this it the best of those. Good stock of everything needed. Fair prices, helpful staff
