Last year we wanted to install a new vegie garden – one that was resistant to termites, didn’t warp with age and was easy to build (having redesigned our current vegie garden twice from red gum sleepers, which warped badly in the summer and are heavy to move around). We came across ewood, and saw they already had vegie garden kits. However, the size we wanted to build was much larger than the kits available.I contacted Peter to ask about the product, and he told me about its resistance to termites, the long life span it has, and I was really pleased to read about how it’s made from 100% recycled plastics. During my chat with Peter, he offered to do a custom design vegie garden so that it could maximise our garden space and still use the product.Peter came to our place, helped us design the best garden layout and was kind enough to also do a test build in their factory to ensure it all worked out. The end result is we have a large (16m2) vegie garden for a small footprint and have had zero (I mean zero) movement in the boards – it looks as new now as when we installed it in April last year.We did the install ourselves, but Peter and the team delivered the pieces partly assembled, so we had the whole garden built in a weekend. Peter was a real pleasure to deal with. I cannot recommend ewood highly enough, whether for vegie gardens, flower beds (we got one of those too) or anything else they do. The product is brilliant (and is good for the environment as well), service was excellent, and it looks great in the garden. Very happy indeed.
