I am delighted to say that I had a fantastic building experience with VM Building and would build again with them in a heartbeat. The quality of the house is exceptional, the trades used were among the best in the industry and I continue to receive positive feedback from everyone that is invited over who are blown away with the finishes and quality of workmanship.I was after my ‘dream home’ - one that was energy efficient (8.1 stars), practical in design given the size of the block being only 289 sqm, and included a few extras such as an attic and a number of retaining walls. It ended up being a project that some builders were not interested in taking on given the complexities of the site and design. VM Building are able to take on any challenge or any design. Most builders would shy away from something they deem to be ‘difficult’, ‘outside of the box’ or ‘too hard’ and would turn you away or charge through the nose.I decided to engage VM Building after coming to the conclusion that I was not only going to get high quality service but also absolute value for money. I particularly liked the fact that they are a small family run business with a proven track record. I never felt like ‘just a number’ to them but rather a valued client. This is something that is very important to me. Chris made the process of building so easy - he was always friendly, flexible, made suggestions along the way and everyone I dealt with were very accommodating with any change requests that were submitted. He was always available to me, was very personable and I always felt comfortable in the knowledge that my house build was in the best hands. Open communication during the building process is paramount and VM Building were exceptional in that regard.The quality of products used exceeded my expectations along with the building site kept safe, neat and tidy throughout the build. The after-service was very prompt and again exceeded my expectations. I understand that VM Building relies upon repeat business and word of mouth. I also know that they win many building awards based on their great work, amazing service and they have a large number of repeat customers as a result. I have already highly recommended VM Building to my family and friends and would also like to recommend them to anyone looking to build in the future. A big thank you to Chris and the team for building my dream home!!
