I would put 0 if I could. Dr very unprofessional, rude and doesn't care one bit. After commenting on a post on Dalby site received a rude letter from Dr forbidding me to use social media, next appt he tore strips off me which just emphasis my mental health. Refuses to do scripts for me which was recommended by my cardiologist specialist. Now refuses to see me at all. I'm a pensioner and need bulk billing and only practise in Dalby to do this, so now my health has been at risk with 3 hospital presentations in past 6 weeks due to his breach of Dr oath (shall not be malice and cause harm to patient)The comment I made on social media was about a skin check Dr Qureshi gave me got a clean clearance but 5 months later got 3 biopsies done on face which all came positive to cancer.

I am a patient at Myall Medical Practice, and I needed to get a referral to see a specialist in Brisbane for a consultation that had become available at short notice. MMP had no appointments and so I thought I would try and see a GP at Western Downs Health Centre; as you do, with this being Australia and me being an Australian citizen and thereby entitled to use our universal healthcare system.I used HotDoc to make an appointment and ticked the 'Existing Patient' box as I had attended WDHC in the past. HotDoc confirmed the appointment and then 20 minutes later WDHC, themselves, sent me a Y or N message asking me to confirm the appointment, which I did.I drove an hour to Dalby and arrived on time for the appointment; checked in and took a seat. After 15 minutes or so a receptionist came over and advised me that as I hadn't attended WDHC since 2020 the Doctor may not be able to see me. I wasn't sure what this meant, but I ‘assumed’ (always dangerous) that as the practice had already allocated me a 10-minute appointment, then obviously the Doctor would see me.After a further 30 minutes waiting and watching the Doctor call two patients [who had checked in 10-15 minutes after me] into his room, I realised that I wasn’t going to be seen after all. The same receptionist then asked me to come outside where she explained that the Doctor wouldn’t be seeing me as the only time I had been to WDHC was for a skin-check in 2020. She further explained that the practice had changed hands since and patients who hadn’t attended in recent times had been taken off the books.Reluctantly……, I do get all of that. What I don’t get is the reply I got when I asked how I was able to get a HotDoc appointment, as an existing patient, and why, subsequently, WDHC themselves had sent me a message asking me to confirm the appointment. I was told that “It does sometimes happen, that people fall through the cracks”. For me, as a self-employed person, I can’t afford to take half a day off work to waste time and fuel money driving an hour each-way to Dalby in order to sit around sick people, for 45 minutes, for nothing - it’s not a ‘crack’ it’s a massive FAIL on the part of Western Downs Medical Centre.

I have been a patient of this practice since opening and have always had a good Dr but reception is a different matter. These 2 women should retire they are burnt out and bitter. Please ladies retire and let some young blood do your job. Customer service is a job for happy people not mean and bitter staff.
