Loved this place. Went here later at night and the possums were out feeding on fruit. There were lights on to walk down the stairs and around the sinkhole. Great views. Only need about 30 min to walk around and take in the scenery

Wonderful place, a hidden jam . If you visit mount gambier, then this should be in your priority list. At first you will think , where is the main attraction, trust me once you are at the bottom , your heart will be full of Joy. There is a bbq place, not sure you can use it or not. Plenty of parking. Take lots of pictures, as you will remember the place and want see the beauty of nature again.

This is a free attraction. The sink hole and gardens are quirky and worth a visit. The icing on the cake is waiting until dusk when lots of possums appear and are happy to be feed slides carrots or apples. Very gentle creatures.

Absolutely breathtaking. You are amazed how this place is made. We visited it in winter time, and it had small waterfalls everywhere. Totally recommended place to visit.

Beautiful place to visit in Mt Gambier. No tickets, no wait. Visited during public holidays. Picnic spot. No cafes. Washroom available.Photo worthy and apt to be called as sunken garden. Beware of bees in the area. Warning and history boards at the entrance.

Beautiful sinkhole with plenty of flowers such as hortensias at the bottom. If you come at the sunset you can feed the possum with the kids. Easy access and plenty of carpark around. There are a few hives around so be mindful of it.

Wow What an amazing garden, it is kept very well. If you want this place to yourself, go there before 8am and it was very quiet and peaceful with the sound of morning birds and silence. I went in the afternoon first around 2pm, lots of people.

Great daytime visit (we also came in the evening, but the floodlighting was poor). Go early, and you might have it all to yourself.Stunning sunken garden in a park, free to visit. The hanging vines are magnificent. We didnt see the possums (in the evening visit), but plenty of droppings.Toilets in the park, and easy parking. A fews levels of steps.
