Ken Stokes Smash and Mechanical Repairs

To say these guys are a bunch of backyard mechanics\panel beaters is too generous. They are simply a bunch of backyard criminals.They have absolutely no idea in any area that they claim to specialize in. A friend of mine went there a few weeks ago, to have an electrical matter looked at. He advised that everyone in the joint had a look and were all clueless and the problem was not resolved.I decided to go down out of curiosity and see if they were as bad as I heard they were. I went down and inquired about getting some panel repairs done on a car and a paint job.I have been in the panel beating/spray painting business for 21 years and have worked for some of the most respected workshops in Sydney.I couldn't believe what information I was given and the quote was ridiculously expensive for what I was asking to be done.I saw some of their work in the place and was not impressed to say the leastIt is beyond belief how a place like this can continue to trade. I don't think there is anyone with formal and proper qualification in this place

My car was 'tagged' one night recently. After trying a few places that weren't terribly interested, I took it to Ken Stoke's for a look. Although he was a bit busy, he tried a few things to determine the paint type. The price he gave to clean it off was quite reasonable, so he go the job.I can't complain. He was quick at getting it done & it looks great.

Very happy with the end result, best price I could find and was done on time.Explained to me clearly what I should expect and what he could do for me. Will definitely come back and recommended friends and family. Thanks again.

These guys are the real pros. They will work with you not against. I've had my car spray painted with them a few times and the end result was great, OEM look and colour matched. Their prices are fair and great to deal with. Highly recommend.

Highly recommend these guys. They are very reasonably priced and do an amazing job. I had my car dropped in for a car door ding and scratches, Marko and the team had this done in two days. Really happy with the result and friendly service. Would come here again!

I wouldn't normally write a review but I hate garages ripping people off. I sent the same 3 pictures to a few garages in my area to get a quote for fixing a dent and scratch on car door and 2 scuffs on the cant rail. Make of this what you like but I was shocked to be quoted $2,200 by this company compared to $600-900 from the other garages

I have known & dealt with Marko & his awesome crew for several years & he never disappoints when it comes to service & standards as well as competitive pricing & quality work. Whether it's a car service or body repair work, they always due their diligence & are very professional & efficient. Highly recommended!

Thanks for the reply. 3 stars was actually pretty generous and before I had the terrible experience of being stood up twice by Marko. On Friday 3 Feb 2023, I called Marko to make an appointment for my car to be serviced. I had actually serviced my car with them in 2021. He said drop by next day at 9am. Great. I arrived at the shop on 4 Feb 2023 9.10am. Place was shut. Called Marko a few times. No answer. Went home. Marko called and apologised in the afternoon. Gave a valid reason for his no show. We made another appointment for Monday 6 Feb 2023 8am. I arrived at 7.55am and when it was 8am, called Marko and tried a few times. No answer again. Waited... some staff showed up at 8.15am. Turns out they were smash repair crew and not service. One of them called Marko. Marko said not coming in and asked me come back Wednesday. I was not prepared to come on Wednesday and risk getting stood up a third time. Very disappointed. Didn't get a callback from Marko. Poor communication. Terrible customer service. Waste of time. Changing to 1 star now.

Marko and his team are very good. Excellent work on my car in a timely manner. He charged me very reasonable price.Really want to highlight that quality of paint work was exceptional as Mazda cars are not easy to colour match.Highly recommend!!

The boys did a great job with my car.It was a full restoration build from the ground up, they did all the panel work and paint and now it looks like a show car, it will be going to summernats and other shows next year.Can't say enough about attention to detail in every area.Definitely recommend them to any one looking for quality work.Very professional and honest, found doing business with them a real pleasure.Any cars I do in the future will go there for any work.
