I got in touch with Josh to discuss a computer upgrade and gather a quote. He was great to talk to, really helped me understand the options I could go for and was proactively making suggestions - he was also understanding of my hearing loss and had no problem with migrating our phone conversation onto a series of emails (and responding to more questions from me!). I recently had cause to visit Hobart Computer repairs and for the second time I was able to have my data recovered from a drive that I could not access. The cause of the problem was complete of my doing, and I was more than apprehensive in the likelihood of ANY recovery. BUT- Josh - was able to save the day and the turnaround service was outstanding. I believe we achieved a high level - of data recovery- I would guess 100% as I seem to have all that I thought I had prior to my visit- I can only say that both times of my challenge, Josh has made a remarkable recovery and I cannot express how grateful I am- as my disk contains my archive of 35 years family history, docs and photos. On Josh's advice I am currently making an alternative backup to a third device - as I should have done previously but was just a bit overconfident. Josh is a very professional and amiable bloke and he s deserves all the acumen that his business generates. It really is a privilege to know that we have such talent easily available and well priced. i hope I dont need his service again, but If I do, I would go there in a heartbeat. I had an issue with my anti virus software. When I called Hobart Computer Repairs they were very professional and advised I should bring my computer in. The service I recieved was fantastic, they were able to assist me, fixed my problem on the spot, and did not over charge. Very greatful... Thanks

Amazing! super fast turn around on my laptop screen replacement and this is an honest local Hobart provider with his own premises unlike some other providers who aren't actually located in the offices they say they are. This is the go to guy for all of your computer repair needs!

I came in to get data transferred from a broken laptop to my spare laptop. Unfortunately, we were unable to fully resolve this due to data corruption issues, but Richard was extremely helpful and friendly. I would definitely return here for any future issues with my devices!
