I had a fantastic day with Nick and leant so much about how guitars are put together. Nick was patient and great at explaining everything. He happily agreed to make my cigar box 4 strings, not the usual 3, very much appreciated. A lovely bush setting out of town was nice too.I'd highly recommend the experience to anyone!Marty

I had a great weekend making a resonator guitar, and I would highly recommend this course to everyone. I have made a few Cigar Box Guitars on my own, and am reasonably familiar with what's it takes. But Nick was brilliant, and I learned sooooo much on the weekend which will stand me in good stead in the future.

Had a great time building an archtop with Nick in 2019. An excellent learning opportunity and the guitar turned out fantastic. It still plays really well and I'm about to embark on a hardware upgrade.

Such a great weekend, no question was too silly, Nick is a great instructor, no question was too silly, and I learnt a bunch of stuff that I can use on my other guitars! As Molly would say 'Do yourself a favour!'

My experience at Wildwood Instruments was exactly what I had hoped for. I learnt a lot about the electrical components of an electric guitar as well as how to setup the neck, bridge, nut and string height of the guitar. Nick is an extremely knowledgeable and patience teacher and provided excellent instructions all along the way. I am really happy with the way the guitar looks and plays and it's great to have a unique instrument with with a personal attachment.

Just had a ripper weekend making a guitar with some other guys and Nick from Wildwood Instruments. If you haven’t done this give it a go. Was a great weekend in Daylesford. Nick is an excellent instructor. Could not rate the guitar making course more highly.

We had an awesome weekend guitar building session with Nick. A two day course gives you real experience in assembling a very playable guitar. Also, the location is amazing and Nick is a brilliant, very patient and accommodating teacher.Tip: Drop the better half off for spa and make yourself a guitar. Win - win

My new guitar feels, plays and sounds so much better than I ever expected.I feel like I understand electric guitars so much better now and feel confident I can do a setup myself now.Thanks to the other students as well who made the weekend very enjoyable.I can't wait to build my next kit guitar
