Was told to wait in the waiting area of drive thru for my order as the toastie I ordered was being cooked.Was given my order to find later down the road that my toastie wasn't in the bag.Had to drive back to get this, round out they accidentally left it out even though that's what I was waiting on.Lesson learned.. if I order again, I will be thoroughly checking all items accounted for.

Absolutely disgusting and disappointing. Wait 25 mins for 2 meals. My partner order a double bacon deluxe burger and received no tomato or bacon on it! He paid almost $9 for the burger itself, he ended up giving the burger to the dog as it was very dry and tasted like it had been kept in the warmer for an hour or more?! I ordered the filet o fish burger and the fish is so dry it looks and taste like rubber???!!! The only good thing about this experience is the bottle of water!!! Photos attached to prove this horrible experience. Not happy.

I've been living in the area and using this McDonald's for just over 6 months now. Your day shift staff do brilliant almost everytime but the night shift staff need urgent retraining. The get literally everything wrong every single time right down to the packaging. Food is wrong, messy, missing, unpackaged every single night time order and the soft drink is basically water. I actually can't believe how incompetent the night team is. It's like toddlers work there from 4pm. It's embarrassing for you. Hoping it gets better soon or I'll just pay the extra buck for burger urge instead. Great work to the day shift team though. Brilliant every time

Today is the last time I will visit this store. My burger bun was soggy like it had been sitting in water and tasted like it. Waited 10 minutes for my order. I only went there due to location and convenience. Was thinking there is no way they could be worse then last time. How wrong was I. The rubbish in the bins looking through drive through window were overflowing. This place needs an overhaul and clean up.Last time I ate in store and had to wipe my table down to sit at it. Not pleasant at all.

They can't even read the docketsHusband gos through the drive through places his order of 2 hush browns and a big Mac it cost $18 comes home.It the bag was 1 bacon and egg muffin and a sausage and egg muffinAnd on the bottom of the bag was l order docket was for l sausage add l rasher of bacon..So we rang them and told them they are so useless .We went to get our original order they all were looking at us like we were idiots ..They all need to wake up they are all standing around doing nothing but talking about what happened the night before

Service is slow. Orders are more often than not missing something especially in drive thru. Staff are either lovely and pleasant or deadpan and unhelpful. Understand it is a new store but it is a worldwide food chain with set procedures and training. Training seems lacking at this store. Have tried to give it a chance but won't return. Would rather drive twice the distance to another store

Went through the drive through 19.04.23, we waited 5 mins at the speaker and they then served another car immediately when they pulled up and still hadn't served me. We then had to wait another 5 mins for them to restart the computer so we could pay, then waited another 3-5 mins with staff walking past our waiting order and seemingly avoiding us, so I said excuse me, but is that our order sitting there getting cold and they said oh, yeah - so of course our food was cold. When I asked for new chips as they were cold, they took them away, then checked with the supervisor and bought the same ones back to us. Not good Food Hygiene and appalling service.

*updated review* I recently stopped by this McDonalds to see if anything had been improved on. The staff were excellent, they seemed to be training a new lady on my visit and she was great. My order was correct, received hot, and was good. Couldn't complain about anything.*old review* THE worst McDonald’s in town. The staff are slow and don’t pay attention at all. The food is never fresh either. I have been a handful of times over the year and not a single time, not even one time, has my order been correct. Actually, it's somewhat impressive. Staff are apologetic when they stuff up, but it’s simply not good enough, especially when you consider how long you have to spend waiting. And they never fix anything properly. I’ve never had them fix the issue with my order. Even when it’s something as simple as “you didn’t give me my chips.”

They have some improvements to make. They generally take longer than other McDonald's to get the food out and not always the freshest tasting food. I hope they can start reaching the standards set by other McDonald's in Mackay.
