WDEA Works Bendigo

I've always had amazing service at WDEA with Sharon and the team, helping me out when I've been unwell & giving me information along with support on wanting to start my own business. But today you guys have gone above and beyond, I was stuck between figuring out how to budget rent, bills, fuel and food for the next month after being given a sudden and unexpected bill.I needed new shoes for work and figured out I could afterpay $40 max per week on a $150 pair of shoes but I would have to cut my grocery business. When I asked where the shoe stores were here I was told that you guys could help me get new shoes, not only did you help me get and find new shoes that are absolutely amazing and the support is instantly making my joints feel so much better, you covered the cost. I can afford to get some decent food and the new frying pan I've been looking at.The support I've already gotten was amazing, but this was the icing on the cake.I'm going to miss the support I get when you guys go.Thank youYou've really made a difference

I have been with WDEA for a long time. I have found their professionalism outstanding. Willing to help out whenever I ask. For example, I needed new shoes for work. I asked and within a few hours I had new shoes. It truly is amazing. Jacinta always checks in to make sure all is well. I am very appreciative. Thank you.

All the staff are very friendly and I feel very comfortable, no staff member make u feel uncomfortable

I am very new to WDEA and Luke has been amazing, helping me and my daughter every step of the way with getting set up to find a job and all the hoops we have to jump through with Centrelink, getting things done in a few days rather than weeks. He is very kind proactive and reassuring and listens. I feel like we haven't even started yet but he's already made me feel like I can get a job I will enjoy after not being in the workforce for 22 years. I've never had a job I've enjoyed before so I'm looking forward to this new experience.

I've never not been emotionally and physically supported by everyone at Bendigo WDEA. They're all friendly faces and even better when you sit down with them, not once have I felt uncomfortable. Wonderful group, especially compared to other job services in the area.

I have been with WDEA for some years now and have found their ongoing help and support outstanding throughout the years. My current employment consultant is Lauren Filippe, she was assigned to me in December 2022 and got me an interview at the All Seasons Resort within a week of her being my consultant, I got the job, thanks to her and am still currently working there! She was able to provid me with a work uniform for me and even a bike for me to get safely to and from work when I had no transport to do so. She is understanding, compassionate and a real professional consultant whom I appreciate and am blessed to have as my support. So thank you WDEA, you guys rock! I recommend.

A friend came home completely distressed after having 2 of your disgraceful employees strip away any self esteem, enthusiasm, and confidence she had by telling her she would not survive an interview". This is yet another example of job network agencies whose only interest is getting government kickbacks rather than assisting their clients get a job. This woman (who is older)

I have had great experiences with other WDEA branches but the people in the Bendigo branch just can't get their stuff together.The amount of messages I have left with crystal or whatever her name is and it has never been passed on.Obviously zero care factor and zero respect to their clients.As long as the ladies here are getting paid for doing nothing they have no reason to do their actual jobs.
